More than 60% of licensed pediatricians are female, and they influence every aspect of the @CanPaedSociety. On #InternationalWomensDay (and every day) we salute their leadership, vision, and compassion. Thank you. #womeninmedicine #IWD2022

Would you question what cancer pain feels like or remind a patient when they last had pain medication before giving more?
Why are sickle cell patients disbelieved when they report pain?
Stop judging and #TreatThePain

The anticipated increase in vaccine supply in Ontario is terrific news
But I worry that the rapid, province-wide expansion in age eligibility will further exacerbate inequities given a booking system that favours the affluent, able, tech-savvy, and English-speaking

Covid-19: 15-30% of people are ill for 5 weeks or more. Federal + Ontario sick days = 4 weeks 3 days. Precarious workers, low income & racialized people are less likely to have sickness benefits. If they are not sacked, they will have to go back to work sick or suffer financially
