A startup farm in the Pentland Hills. Graham and @beccibarr are returning this previously derelict farm to productivity with a flock of Easycare ewes.

Cracking job from @benjaminjmiller transforming our moon surface driveway, highly recommended. Need to install speed bumps now!

Donate today to help DEC charities meet the immediate needs of people fleeing Ukraine with food, water, health assistance, protection and trauma care. With your help they can scale up their response and help families affected by the conflict through this crisis.
Second cycle tupping. Never too sure how hard to push ewes to eat down 40+ year old pasture like this. Ideally I'd like all the thatch and worm larvae eaten but don't want to starve ewes! Any thoughts? Thanks! @bankhousefarm01 @andrew_tullie @eaziangus

This is brilliant, an amazingly diversified business and genuinely lovely family. Making a small farm pay with a wide range of incomes,
None of which are easy, but all play a part.

Great year for Lapwings here. They seem to love newly cultivated/seeded ground, which goes against almost all the rules of our Agri Environment scheme. (Note to dept: this field is not in the scheme!) @ForWaders @RSPBScotland
Last year's piggy back drilled herbal reseed looking a bit stripey. Any tips to achieve a more even sward next time? Thinking of using Opico instead but worried it's too dry for putting seed in shallow 🤔 @bankhousefarm01 @Damndelicious @pirntatonjim @MacEccles84 @ColdrochieEG

“The Pentland Hills will still be here when this is all over, if you need to get out and exercise please do not get in your car and drive to the hills. Stay at home and stay local.”

Great video of @herbalpastures here. One of the very first UK adopters of mob grazing and one of the reasons we started doing this here. @supercarbon
