I’ve realised that I haven’t told this story online yet, but I have a bit of a history with internet money/side hustles:
2016-2018 (13-15 y/o): tried a bunch of things like designing/selling 3D assets, making TF2 hats (iykyk), starting a clothing brand. Nothing stuck
2019: Did some freelance graphic design jobs for schoolmate’s parents and started selling products online via print on demand sites
2020: Scaled my POD hustle to around 1.5k MRR
2021: Started uni, shifted focus and lost all my momentum (Was still getting passive monthly cheques though)
2026 (23 y/o): I’m a free man! Back in the game exploring indie hacking and entrepreneurship.
For people running their first event:
When you first walk into the pub you booked, the staff will very clearly have no idea who you are.
Its important to not waver in this moment 😂
