Boom! Gets re-elected and Hegseth better watch out. To quote @PatRyanUC “Buckle up and lawyer up”
REELECTED TO SERVE: Pat Ryan earns another term serving NY-18!
A fifth-generation Hudson Valley native, West Point graduate, and Army combat veteran with two Bronze Stars, @PatRyanUC has led with integrity at every level and represents the very best of servant leadership.

REELECTED TO SERVE: Chris Deluzio holds the line in PA-17!
A Naval Academy grad who served in Iraq, @ChrisforPA is a servant leader and champion for his community. From rail safety to good union jobs, he shows up for the workers and families who call #PA17 home.
This one is special. We met Zach almost 18 months ago. We backed him early and went all-in despite the tough race. He's exactly the type of leader we need in Congress and we're honored that New Politics was the first national org to endorse him. Congrats Zach!
FLIPPED: Former Navy JAG officer, federal prosecutor, and teacher Zach Dembo wins KY-06, a seat Trump carried by 15 points in 2024.
The Bluegrass State is sending a servant leader and corruption fighter to Congress when we need it most. Let’s go @ZachDemboKY! #KY06
Don’t mess with school principals! Pia took on tough race, in a tough state. We’re honored to have her back and so excited for her victory.
Pia Dandiya wins Florida’s 22nd District!
@PiaforCongress started out teaching in a classroom, and she has never stopped believing that service should deliver real results for people. Tonight, voters in #FL22 chose her to bring that same focus to Congress.

The 2028 race for John Fetterman's seat is expected to kick off after tomorrow's election.
Chris Deluzio — in makeshift Bucks County campaign offices, Lehigh Valley union halls and Philly fundraisers — is positioning himself for a head start.

In Waukesha, DGA Chair @AndyBeshearKY rallied with @DavidCCrowley and gave him a custom Louisville Slugger to celebrate the Brewers World Series win.
Crowley helped keep the Brewers in Milwaukee as county executive.
I mean is there anything he can’t do? 😂
Texas Democratic US Senate candidate @jamestalarico making a mouth watering masala dosa in Dallas! 🤤
Agree 100%. This is what I have been hearing for the past two years. Democrats have a lot of work to do to actually engage Latino voters in a way that inspires them to want to feel included by the party. Don't celebrate what you have not actually built.
Congressman Casar is correct.
I’ve conducted more Latino polling & focus groups of the fastest growing part of the working class this year than ever before and the findings are striking.
Despite all the celebrating here, Latinos feel abandoned by the Democratic Party & have no confidence that anything will result in improving the economy - their priority issue.
Cut the parade short and get to work if you want to keep them.
Huge fundraising numbers from servant leaders this cycle -- 19 of our 20 House challengers out-raised their GOP opponents in the last FEC filing. And @new_poli has raised $2M+ for our candidates this cycle.

5 days out and @new_poli servant leaders make up one-third of the DCCC’s Red to Blue list, and @jamestalarico and @DavidCCrowley are running to make history in TX and WI. These servant leaders will be the story of the 2026 midterms.

On Tuesday, @new_poli servant leaders are going to help flip the House and make history in Texas and Wisconsin.
I wrote about the candidates I’ve watched grow into leaders and why I believe they'll win on Tuesday.

.@Brewers made Wisconsin proud. Now it's Tuesday's turn — let's send @DavidCCrowley to the governor's office.
.@ZachDemboKY, @EileenforCO, @nancylacore, and @KnickerbockerOH were all running in races rated Solid Republican this cycle, but they ran anyway. Today all four seats are in play, and these servant leaders opened new paths to a House majority

It was actually our 250th anniversary.
Not that you would know — you spent it with the British.
Paxton: On July 4th, we celebrated the 200th anniversary of our country.
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
July 4 2026 marked the 250th anniversary of US independence not the 200th as claimed in the video. Multiple reports placed Paxton in London England that weekend with videos of the trip.

It’s time to start flipping tables.
One week until we send James Talarico to the U.S. Senate. 🤘
Flipping the House runs through @new_poli servant leaders. Our 20 House challengers make up a third of the DCCC’s Red to Blue list. When Democrats win the majority next week, these leaders will be a big reason why. newpolitics.org/flip-the-hou…

SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios.
The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios.
Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said.
Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior.
