The clouds mostly went away for about a minute near the peak. Only about 58% obscured in Miami though. Instead of a "Ring of fire", I got to see a plasma Pac-Man.

The number of TV shows that are turning 30 this month is making me feel really old. So far I've been getting news alerts for X-Files, Conan O'Brien, Frasier, and Boy Meets World. I get it, I'm getting older, but the constant reminders isn't helping...

So far the weather is beautiful today here in Florida. Must be the calm before the storm. Either way, we're bracing for the Category 6 storm later today as I just noticed it's September 6th.
