What everyone regurgitates now is the result of mediocre attempts at sound collage disguised under the term “botanica”. put some respect on phritz’s name because the botanica he coined back then had nothing to do with spamming a bunch of spectral tonal sounds nd granular shit

suggestion for botanica producer: learn actual song writing. if you want to learn REAL gestural composition, learn contemporary computer music/electroacoustic your piece have to make sense even if you slap a frequency shifter on master and make your entire track atonal
