I built a Photoshop-like image editor. It’s called Compositor. robbietilton.com/compositor I originally built it for myself to get off my Adobe subscription, but decided to release it for free and make it open source. It has all the essential tools I need for compositing, with none of the BS. I know this workflow is kind of archaic in 2026, but I’m still using it until AI can actually get pixel-perfect on some of the details. The entire app is 12MB. Photoshop is 6,455MB on my machine.

I made a dedicated, simple page just for my fonts. You can browse and download them there. They're all CC0, so use them to your heart's content 🌺.

A few months ago I started writing a Photoshop alternative built on a node graph. Mac and Windows, native C++, 75 nodes. Every operation is non-destructive. Paint, masks, warps, the whole toolset. Nothing bakes. ArcBrush 1.0 is live today!

🇺🇸 ELON'S CONTINUED FIGHT FOR FREE SPEECH & ACCESS TO INFORMATION Elon confirmed that X will allow live streams of Thursday's Presidential debate, countering CNN's restrictive demands. Elon: "The public has a right to see Presidential debates however they would like. DMCA does not apply." Podcaster Tim Pool reported that CNN told him he couldn't legally simulcast the debate with his commentary - even though they allegedly gave rights to every broadcaster, including Fox, ABC, CBS, etc. This move by Elon is a testament to his unwavering defense of free speech and the public's right to know the truth. However, it is unlikely that X could protect creators who livestream on X from CNN suing the individual creator, which they have promised to do. Presidential debates are a global event, and it's crucial that everyone has access to hear what these men are saying. There are rumors that CNN is struggling with this new strict decision to ban all unapproved debate streaming, so it may change. Source: ZeroHedge, TV Insider

I truly believe this is the future of online retail. Tiny 8mb files (will get even smaller), that start streaming immediately at 30fps. Fully interactive on mobile and web. Usable commercially without any additional licensing. The web is quickly becoming 3D and interactive.

After studying everything that I have studied, my conclusion about #Bitcoin always ends the same: #BTC is the single greatest technological invention of our lifetime. Hear me out, It's a decentralized, peer-to-peer electronic cash system, first adopted by individuals with internet connections. The ramifications of this innovation are hard to imagine and put in to words; it literally changes everything. #Bitcoin is the single most resilient technology in the world. Humans have never built a stronger, more secure computing network. We have never seen a decentralized, open-source software project grow so big and so fast. I believe there will only be 1 globally adopted digital store of value, and my answer is #Bitcoin. Everything else in the crypto "industry" is attempting to be a company, an app, or a "cover" on the fiat system. Bitcoin is the true 0-to-1 innovation. What is your conclusion? 🤔

Years ago UI design was made by graphic designers that often led to bad user experience. Now UI design is more usable, but damn it needs graphic design touches. It’s becoming just plain boring. – at Valencia, Spain

My YouTube channel of 3 years, with 23,500 subscribers, 400 solo streams, and 100 podcasts, was deleted by @TeamYouTube 4 days ago. The reason? My #Bitcoin content promotes illegal activities. "Don't hold your own keys" - as that's considered illegal, apparently. I am the voice of Bitcoin in my home country - Bulgaria. With just shy of 7 million citizens in Eastern Europe, Bulgaria needs Bitcoin as much as any other country. I've devoted the last 3 years of my life to orange pilling fellow Bulgarians. We went through hyperinflation in 1996-97, removing three zeroes from our currency, so we are well familiar with the corrosion of fiat. Last year, we organized The Bulgarian Bitcoin Conference where Jeff Booth, Greg Foss, Natalie Brunell, and more joined us to discuss Bitcoin and what it would mean to the World as well as to Bulgaria. In my content, I discuss macroeconomics, the senate hearings in the US, the bond market worldwide, the real estate market, and more. The channel has never had a strike. The content has never been reported as crossing the Community Guidelines. My Bitcoin mission in Bulgaria will continue. I will change platforms, say goodbye to YT, but will not be silenced. If a fellow Bitcoin content creator gets terminated in a situation similar to mine, think of my case. And more importantly: Ask yourself, why would they terminate Bitcoin content creators? I will stream here, on @X; however, @elonmusk hasn't added OBS keys yet. My content cannot be done through a phone. YouTube is the dominant video platform. The question is: for how much longer?

Literally no one at LBRY is receiving a paycheck right now. We're that broke. Meanwhile the SEC is alleging we have millions in hidden money and is continuing to try to draw things out just to punish us extralegally. They're so fucking disgusting.

This is a great thread on design systems and how to manage expectations
I’ve worked with #designsystem teams at companies like Amazon, Netflix, Google, and more. The most common blocker about #designsystems I hear from them is, “I never really looked at it that way.” My biggest tip for reframing #designsystem work to make it more approachable: 🧵
