I've updated the chapter on plant disease modeling, showcasing methods for variable creation and selection using both window-pane and functional data analysis. I've also added a section on model fitting with logistic regression.

A new chapter of R4PDE is under development: plant disease modeling. The current version shows how to fit a nonlinear model to infection data. Planning to show variable selection methods and model fitting to field data. Let me know what else to add!
