Fun to work alongside Chiara Fingland and Ellie Burroughs from Imagine If (imagineif.space/) - they brought a great creative stall for hosting conversations and I had the chance to deliver an introductory talk about what local place plans are to around 40 local residents

Thoroughly enjoyed an opportunity this morning to offer support to NHS Fife Director of Public Health Joy Tomlinson and consultant Lucy Devine around the process of forming Fife's LDP2, the role of the evidence report and opportunities to influence the next plan

Great to get out and about on my first commission for Place at the Table last week, working with Cat Jones of Sniffer (Climate Adaptation Scotland) in Bathgate with the folks from West Lothian Climate Hub, promoting the Climate Ready South East Scotland (CRSES) Storymap exercise.

This week turned a page on the next chapter in my career. I am now self-employed with Place at the Table, my new venture: placeatthetable.co.uk. Landing on my feet (with gratitude) with contracts working with Adaptation Scotland, and LPPs in Balfron and Anderston. More anon!

Members of DTAS have united submitting a letter to ScotGov for immediate clarity on funding for community orgs across Scotland. The 4th wk of the new financial yr & pending funding decisions threaten services, jobs & the progress and stability we've fought so hard to build!

To be shortlisted for this award is a massive testimony to the hard work of the brilliant folks in Morvern, who aim to upgrade their work in CAP into a Local Place Plan, with PASs support. Incredibly strong competition for this award though, everyone very deserving.
Very pleased that the Morvern Community Action Plan has been shortlisted for a Scottish Planning Innovation Award, in the Sustainable category. Find out more out here: pas.org.uk/news/scottish-pla… #SPIA #showyourinnovation #shareyoursuccess

Nice though to have been at the heart of leading this process from quote to submission, mostly because I was able to work alongside some truly inspiring people in a beautiful part of the country.

🙏 A massive THANK YOU to all who came along to our second weekend of community conversations, this time on developing detailed plans to deliver on our vision for #Struan in 2033. Much laughter and wisdom shared! We will use the outputs to help prepare a draft plan.
