For years, most NFTs have made their traits and attributes publicly accessible. If a character had rare abilities, stats or battle power, anyone could look them up on a block explorer.
That can make on-chain gaming predictable. Your opponent may know important details about your character before a match even begins.
Fungo is taking a different approach using Fully Homomorphic Encryption (FHE), powered by @zama, to bring encrypted data and computation to NFTs on Ethereum.
Its roadmap unfolds across three phases:
🟨 Phase 1: Genesis
It starts with 3,232 encrypted NFTs. Their artwork can stay sealed until the holder chooses to reveal it, while the core attributes remain encrypted on Ethereum.
🟨 Phase 2: The Launchpad
The technology extends to other studios and creators, allowing them to launch their own encrypted collections through the Fungo Launchpad, with control over what gets revealed.
🟨 Phase 3: The Game
Fungo plans to build an on-chain game around Genesis NFTs and their hidden traits. FHE can allow smart contracts to evaluate encrypted stats and calculate outcomes without requiring players to reveal those stats to each other.

The first tracks the number of inscriptions deployed.
The second counts successful inscriptions across all deployments.
The third measures the total ETH volume processed through the marketplace.
These figures update as new transactions are confirmed, giving users a quick view of activity without checking individual transactions.
I find the distinction between these metrics useful.
More deployed inscriptions suggest growing participation in creating new assets, while successful inscriptions show how much minting activity is taking place.
Marketplace volume adds another perspective by showing the value of ETH moving through trades.
Of course, these totals don't tell us how many unique users are participating or whether activity is growing consistently. Those require additional data.
but having all three figures side by side on @beepzfun is a useful starting point for understanding the difference between asset creation, inscription activity and actual marketplace trading.
