'The nearly 5 million Palestinians in Occupied West Bank + 2.3 million in Gaza do not vote in Israeli Elections. But the 1 million Israeli citizens living illegally in West Bank do vote in the elections'. And the EU calls this the only Democracy in the Region.? Total nonsense...
The Palestinian population in Israel is approx. 25%, at 2.5 million. They are classified as Arabs, not Palestinians, in order to deny them their identity, and sever their relations with Palestinians in the occupied territories. They vote in the Israeli elections, and expect about 19 seats in the 120-member Parliament in the current elections.
Nonetheless, they do not enjoy the same rights as the Israeli citizens. There are over 100 laws that discriminate against these Palestinian citizens in Israel. The country is codified in law as the national homeland of Jewish people. There is none in the Cabinet, but they have a judge in the Supreme Court. They serve in the army and police but at a deputy commander level at most.
The nearly 5 million Palestinians in the occupied West Bank, and 2.3 million in Gaza do not vote in Israeli elections. But the 1 million Israeli citizens living illegally in the West Bank do vote in the elections.
Historically, the Palestinian/ Arab parties in Israel stay out of Government. With 19 seats, and a tie in the two major coalitions, they will be the kingmakers if they opt to join the Jewish coalitions which in the campaigns have made it clear they would not want to form a coalition with Arab because of their conditions. In the above clip, Netanyahu rules out a coalition with them. But will the Arab Palestinians want to join his Government anyway?

Has anyone pressed Jess Wilson on her nuclear energy policy?
Keeping it vague looks like a purely strategic move to hold onto vulnerable seats.

The people of Kew are a waste of Jess Wilson’s time, according Liberals.
Is it arrogance, entitlement, or just taking Kew completely for granted?

What a horrid grub but then. It does run in the family! Grandpa had a thing for culling back in the day

Jess Wilson will be a racist & divisive premier IMO.
1 Scrap the inclusive First Nations Treaty.
Many Victorians are not pro Zionism
2 Rallying respectfully for the Palestinians should be permitted.

Tim Wilson joking around as he leaves, then gives a condescending bow to the Speaker, while the members of the LNP are all laughing.
They do not deserve to call themselves the Federal Opposition.
That title should go to the Independents, who are far superior performers.

Let’s talk about serial liar. Hid the energy increases prior to 2022 elections then lied. Lied about the fraudulent letter sent to Mayor of Sydney. Lied about water buy backs. @AngusTaylorMP sit this one out champ. You’re no better.
The Prime Minister is a serial liar.
He lied to Australians about Capital Gains Tax and Negative Gearing to get elected. He lied about falling off a stage. He lied about reducing power bills by $275. He lied about mocking the Japanese Prime Minister.
Now, he's lying about his dodgy $6 million taxpayer-funded grant to the Marrickville Golf Club.
In every instance, he has refused to admit he was wrong and apologise. In doing so, he has treated Australians like fools.
His word was never his bond.
Australians deserve a Prime Minister with the honesty to give straight answers to simple questions and the humility to admit when they've made a mistake.

In Victoria they will vote out corruption by voting for the Liberal Party that intend to sell assets to their private sector mates, which wouldn’t be corrupt of course…

She’s a genocide supporter.
She supports burning Palestinian babies to death in their tents
She should be nowhere near any Australian parliament.
The majority of us are against Israel’s genocide.

Excellent article from Chip Le Grand @Melbchief (no paywall).
Explores potential Lib party over-confidence and inexperience - of 128 candidates only 2 have ministerial experience. Jess herself entered Parliament in Dec22, under 4 years ago.
Also explores Wilson’s refusal to join the Ch9 debate next week. He makes the point that 1M Victorians intending on voting ON have the right to have Pickering join the debate.
Even Jeff Kennett advising Wilson against arrogance.
Well worth a read.

She does not want to debate Ben Carroll
She is ahead in the polls and does not want any scrutiny which could change that
Can anyone explain to me why Jess Wilson doesn't want Warren Pickering to be part of the election debates?
Surely it would be in her best interests to throw him in the deep end to see if he sinks or swims?
Plus, there's a very good chance he'd make her look a lot less shit.
Unless she's trying to protect the person she hopes will be her future coalition partner? That's the only way it makes any sense...

If Jess Wilson will not turn up for her electorate or for a debate with ON. What is she hiding ??
What is she afraid of???
Wilson Wilson will not be honest with Victorians.

For the economic illiterates out there, here's the maths.
Tobacco makes up 1.87% of the CPI basket.
Based on ABS data, the price of illegal cigarettes are about 70% lower than the legal ones.
With around 80% of sales the illegal product, the actual price paid by smokers is around 60% lower than the ABS CPI figure
1.87 x 60 = 1.122
If the ABS had moved to use the actual price paid in September (which is said it will not do), tobacco would cut 1.12ppts from the CPI, so instead of headline inflation being 4.34%, it would be 3.22%
