NBA should prob fix training camp and preseason. Right now it’s who’s getting hurt tonight not who won. Then we get ghost teams and lost seasons for five months. There’s no other way to put it: it’s boring. That’s shame because these are the best athletes in the world

In Week 3 you already have an injury to Baker and you're caught with your pants down with only 2 QBs on the roster one of which is an undrafted rookie QB?

That doesn't even include prolonged contract negotiation with Vita Vea. Their season was lost in the offseason. Coach and GM should be out for these decisions. Far below NFL level roster construction and decision making

Palantir CEO Alex Karp ($85 billion market cap) on CNBC: "Something terrible has happened with AI sales"a-death knell for the OpenAI model and token sales. Palantir founder and CEO Alex Karp-the man whose algorithms power the Pentagon’s and intelligence agencies’ combat AI systems-appeared live on CNBC’s *Squawk Box* and delivered a scathing takedown of Silicon Valley’s leading AI labs (OpenAI, Anthropic). Karp told the hosts to their faces that traditional chatbots are a sham-a scam that causes companies to lose billions while handing over their intellectual property. Alex Karp’s key revelations on CNBC: "Token sales are a bubble": Karp posed a direct question: if closed-source language models truly generate billions for businesses, why do labs charge pennies for "tokens" instead of demanding 30% of the resulting profits? The reason is that standard tokens create no real business value. Theft of corporate "Alpha" and IP: Major US corporations are furious; they are paying to feed their own trade secrets and algorithms to closed-source labs, which then use that data to train their next generation of models. "Outsourcing the battlefield to Silicon Valley is madness": Military forces in Ukraine and Israel would never entrust the management of operations to closed-source chatbots. Armies and corporations require full control over model weights, computing power, and private data layers (Ontology). A secret alliance with Nvidia: Palantir is teaming up with Jensen Huang (Nvidia) to provide the business and defense sectors with an architecture that safeguards their sovereignty and prevents Silicon Valley algorithms from stealing their business. What do you think: Is Alex Karp right that the era of mindless token buying is over and an AI startup crash is looming, or is he simply protecting Palantir’s monopoly? 👇

I find it wild so many people are talking about +EV in Circa Survivor. That literally doesn't make sense for the format

The Kawhi Leonard saga is Adam Silver's moment to take control of the league. This should be a multi-year player suspension, banning of player agent/managers involved in the transactions, significant owner fine (think 9 figures), Clippers excluded from revenue share for a period of time (5/10 years). The players and agents should be on notice they do not control the league with salary cap circumvention which is anti-competitive in nature. I'm almost certain Balmer and the Clippers regret their decisions now considering Kawhi also no-showed his Clippers job missing 223 out of 554 games (40%) little playoff success while paying him extra. The punishment should be comprehensive and punitive.

Golf Channel needs to take Brandel off the air. His schtick is tired

Nothing making golf look more stiff than the ruling today and the support of those behind it. That's the real issue with golf

Since the WNBA has decided to not protect Caitlin Clark, whats stopping her from swinging on anyone that comes at her sidways? What's the league going to do if their star player starts fighting with the mids? You really going to suspend your most famous player for the year?

TIL White House construction is equivalent to 9/11. If that’s seriously your worldview and you feel comfortable saying on a public platform I’d encourage you to consider how 1) insane of a statement that is 2) you might be in a prisoner of the moment state

describing the series of events it took for the Cardinals to lose out loud makes you sound like a crazy person

Wild how expert political insiders, four months later, are now financial insiders. Be careful who you get your news from and who benefits from said news
