Great to see our recent video 'Youth Voices Under Occupation' directed by @ErikaFJimenez is now available in Gaeilge/Irish thanks to community and language activist Caoimhe Ní Choinn who does incredible Irish-language youth work at @foramnanog. Thanks also to community and youth organisation @GlorNaMona for engaging with this research on #Palestine. youtu.be/v68xWxZr_Rk

What a beautiful tribute to my wee Daddy in today's Irish News 'Lives Remembered' section by Maria Gough. There are no truer words than, 'Though I've left you with a heart that's been torn.' ❤️🙏 Yet, it's still so hard to believe. 🥹💔 irishnews.com/news/northern-…

After he won the Nobel Prize in Literature in 1957, Albert Camus wrote a letter of thanks to his favorite childhood teacher, whom he'd never forgotten. It's beautiful.

One of the good guys!! A big heart and big smile. Who can forget how he lifted all our spirits during Covid with the gift of his music? God blessed him with a wonderful talent, and he used it to bring joy to others. Solas na bhFlaitheas go bhfeice sé. 🔵⚪️🔵

So lucky to attend my friend @ErikaFJimenez's book launch today with my class. Powerful discussions led by Dr. Erika Jimenez, Prof. Laura Lundy, and chaired by Prof. Colin Harvey, exploring the human rights of Palestinian youth. An emotive day! #HumanRights #Education

Education should be about more than squeezing as many GCSEs out of a pupil as possible. But this will continue if we keep measuring educational outcomes through a narrow, singular focus on the results of an examination system designed for a different time and context.
These are very welcome comments from @bphillipsonMP Exam grades aren't the be-all and end-all. For too long the curriculum & assessment system has forced schools to focus on a narrow definition of 'standards' at the expense of real learning & student wellbeing. bit.ly/3YVnfzY
