Kyiv.
Early Sunday evening.
I went to have warcoffee at my favourite place.
Drones? Frequent uninvited ‘guests’ during the day.
One of the bridges was hit earlier.
People are out, doing the same as I do: living their lives.

The world is getting tired of Ukraine
Slowly. Quietly
I understand -
A war that lasts years
Is not “interesting” anymore
But our war didn’t end
Ukraine is still fighting
Still making russia weak
And we are still dying -
Soldiers, civilians, children
Even if you don’t see it in the news
Ukraine is no longer a headline
But we are still here
Still fighting not only for ourselves -
But for Europe’s future
And we still need your support

🤬🤬RUSSIA JUST HIT A SCHOOL IN KYIV.
A SCHOOL. WITH CHILDREN INSIDE.
This is the moment the strike hit.
Thankfully, the children were in the shelter.
This is the reality Ukrainian children are being forced to live through.
Don’t look away.
Speak about Ukraine.
Make sure the world sees what russia is doing.

My grandparents survived the terrible abuse of the Federal Indian Boarding School Era. That trauma wasn't isolated to the past—it was carried down through my family all the way to me. And there are so many families like my own across Indian Country.
When I became Secretary of the Interior, I knew it was my duty to help heal those wounds. We launched the Federal Indian Boarding School Initiative to uncover records, bring these stories to light, and ensure the truth could no longer be hidden.
Today, I wear orange to honor the Indigenous children who endured these schools, the families who saw their children ripped away, and the generations who continue to carry that trauma. 🧡
We must remember, tell the truth, and keep working toward healing and a more just future. 🧡

Russia killed seven people in Kyiv today. Moving around the city has turned into a deadly game of hiding from drones. You drive, walk, go to work and suddenly you’re running for cover.
I know this won’t be heard, but I want to leave it here anyway.

Whatever book you pick up, it’s likely to make you feel better—maybe even a whole lot better. “In a secular age, I suspect that reading fiction is one of the few remaining paths to transcendence, that elusive state in which the distance between the self and the universe shrinks,” Ceridwen Dovey writes, in “Can Reading Make You Happier?,” which was published in 2015.
