🏭The production location of a #battery dictates whether it's more effective to prioritise sourcing low carbon materials or to #decarbonise the energy supply used in manufacturing to reduce carbon emissions in the short-term.
🌍However, integrating both strategies is essential for long-term #sustainability of the battery value chain from a global perspective.

Researchers from the @ReLIBProject just finished a workshop on Life Cycle Assessment (LCA). They created flow charts for various recycling processes and determined the inputs, outputs, and assumptions for each process. Exciting progress!
