What drives me batty about all the bad takes from people who came to the CAHSR fiasco party ten years too late is that they don’t get why people voted for it, or how long a plan had been in the works, only to be discarded and reinvented from first principles.

Check to make sure your state’s laws about postmarked ballots. Some states require a postmark to be accepted regardless of arrival date, others, like Florida, don’t accept postmarked ballots, there is a hard deadline and postmark won’t make a difference.

Of all the annoyances that can happen during voting hours, this is the one that objectively sucks. Dealt with two Early Voting power outages in 2018, one in 2022 on primary day. In FL. In August. No issues with voting equipment(backup battery FTW!)
