I really appreciate the response of the state and local election officials in explaining the issue 🗳

Back in 2024, we foresaw this type of activity being an issue. Proud to have worked with leaders like @MichaelWatsonMS and @JeremyEnglandMS who had the foresight to tackle this issue and get this law on the books.
This morning, we notified the Scott Colom for Senate campaign that Mississippi law prohibits deepfake political ads. And we are pleased to announce that they have removed the ads from their social media. Election integrity is important and this office is committed to ensuring public trust in the electoral process.

Americans deserve confidence that every vote cast is legal and every election is secure. Proof of citizenship to register. Voter ID to vote. It's common sense.

This morning, two former senior FBI officials, Nikki Floris, 46, and Bradley Benavides, 56, surrendered on arrest warrants after being charged with lying to Congress about their roles on the Foreign Influence Task Force during the 2020 election. Floris and Benavides allegedly lied to Congress about their roles in the FBI’s Hunter Biden investigations, with one claiming they only learned about it from Wikipedia - despite evidence showing their involvement in helping shape the public narrative about Hunter Biden’s laptop right before the election.
Lying to Congress by anyone strikes at the heart of our democratic system, but when senior FBI agents lie to Congress believing they are above the law, it’s time to bring the hammer of justice down on them. When senior officials entrusted with safeguarding our nation’s security choose deception over duty, they undermine the very institutions they swore to uphold.
Today’s action makes clear that no one is above the law, and we will hold accountable all who obstruct the truth.
Another election article with incomplete information, this time in Palm Beach County. Guess what is not impacted by thick fingers and long nails, paper ballots. Florida law already requires paper ballots and Supervisors are obligated to provide voters a paper ballot.
If any Palm Beach County voter feels pressured to vote on the ADA machine they should demand to vote a paper ballot and immediately contact the Department o State.

Voter ID is a common sense election integrity measure. Student IDs often lack the reliability of government IDs.

Today, after 18 years of absolutely deranged delays and cost overruns, 62% support it.

NEW: The Fifth Circuit allowed Mississippi's anti-DEI education law to take effect and ordered the case reassigned to a different judge, sharply criticizing AI-generated fabrications and serious legal errors in Judge Henry Wingate's rulings blocking the law.
You would think a country that can put a man on the moon and has autonomous vehicles would have a single database of who is a citizen and who is not. Without one, it makes voter roll list maintenance a game of whack-a-mole.
The federal government has complete constitutional authority over immigration and naturalization. States are completely reliant on the information received or verified by the feds. Add in the continuous lawfare on this issue and it makes our job much harder and time consuming than it should be.

DON PALMER: Provide me one state that hasn’t been able to identify non-citizens on their voter rolls. The state systems, including California, admitted in their pleadings that they don’t have a process of confirming citizenship or eligibility.
That’s why they should be working with the federal government. Instead they want to put their head in the sand.
