I have a *rare* space to take on one new client from next month. If you are (or know someone who is) looking for a freelance writer that:
⚡️Writes about ecommerce marketing, and the creator economy
⚡️Has lived experience of all three (owning an ecom store and a community)
⚡️Written for Shopify, Descript, Business Insider, CXL, and more
⚡️Writes SEO-optimized content with lots of product tie-ins
⚡️Has never missed a deadline in almost 7 years
...and more importantly, gets glowing results like this 👇 let me know!

👋🏻 What are you doing on Monday? Okay, I'll tell you:
You're joining me, @upmostmike, and @realBrookNash as we talk about how to get clients on—groan, cringe, eye roll—LINKEDIN!
Go ahead and register right here: shorturl.at/jmCEN
Talking about this in today's newsletter: peakfreelance.com/newsletter
Interesting preliminary data coming from our "State of Hiring Freelancers" report 👇
Clients value how easy a freelancer is to work with more than the results they drive.
(Freelancers: this is why meeting deadlines and proactive communication are bigger competitive advantages than writing quality.)
We still need a lot more responses before we can draw more accurate trends and publish the data. So, if you're a content manager that actively hires freelance writers, please take 5 minutes to help us out:

Work on all three.
We've got a few rare sponsorship slots open for @joinPF this quarter.
If your primary market is freelance writers and content folks, we've got a lot of them who read our emails (almost 5K, to be exact). They’re looking for tools, resources, or software to make their lives easier, build their skillset, and make more money.
DM me if you're interested :)

Impress your clients (and get more work from them) by suggesting topics they haven't already covered on their blog.
I find it easiest to spot these opportunities when I'm adding internal links. Topics that don't come up when doing a site: search make for great recommendations.
I'm giving a LOT of feedback these days as part of my coaching calls. The most common writing issues I see:
• Over-explaining a topic
• Using unnecessary jargon/filler words
Whenever I see it, I say: "Imagine we're discussing this topic over coffee. How would you explain it to me? Write that here instead."
