Iβm glad Ashley posted about this because how did this completely pass me by?! Things like this really make the ones of us who are interested in learning animation and want to put in the effort it takes to do so wonder: is it even worth it anymore now? Me included.
AI is ruining so many peopleβs drive to even bother trying. Why improve my craft, illustration, animation, hell even coding, if itβs going to get stolen and bastardised by a machine by some lazy a**hole who decided itβs better and easier to just type two lines into a soulless pile of code and receive an equally soulless piece of junk that enough people will just mindlessly consume?
The disrespect of it all is revolting.
Many of us have already given up and it honestly hurts to see. Without us artists and our passions and the hard work put into honing our skills none of your damned machines would be able to spit out any of it!
