that's an interesting problem @primus_labs is working to solve.
formerly known as PADO, Primus is building cryptographic infrastructure that helps applications verify internet data and use sensitive information while preserving privacy.
one of its key technologies is zkTLS.
think about it this way. a screenshot can show your account balance, but it doesn't prove where those numbers came from. Primus uses zkTLS to help prove that data came from an authentic connection to the original website.
the website doesn't need to change its infrastructure, and you don't have to expose all your sensitive information just to prove something is true.
this opens up some interesting possibilities.
an application could verify information from supported platforms, developers could build services around real internet data, and users could prove certain facts without sharing their entire account history.
but Primus isn't stopping at data verification.
it's also working on fully homomorphic encryption (FHE), a technology that allows computations to happen directly on encrypted data without first revealing the underlying information.
put these ideas together and you start to see the bigger picture.
zkTLS helps establish whether information is authentic, while FHE makes it possible to work with sensitive data without exposing its contents during computation.
for me, that's what makes @primus_labs worth paying attention to.
blockchains can verify what happens onchain, but valuable information also exists outside them. connecting the two without sacrificing privacy could open the door to more useful financial applications, AI agents, and other Web3 services.
the goal isn't to put everything onchain. it's to make the information we need verifiable and usable without exposing everything.
