This sounds like a great idea @AldPatDowell3rd . Just checked in at my daughter’s school, National Teachers Academy, in your ward and they haven’t received anything yet. Do you need someone to pick them up?

Can’t we all agree these negotiations with @CTULocal1 should have been complete before @ChiPubSchools ever announced a return date? #reset

Big day for NTA. The Board officially rescinds its proposal to close our school and convert us to a high school. A huge thanks to all our allies and supporters who helped make this historic victory possible. #CPSBoard #StandWithNTA #WeAreNTA
Important to note the judge ruled in our favor on the basis of racial discrimination, bc this plan was racist. This is an opportunity for real change. At NTA, in Chicago, and everywhere. #weareNTA
Is there anyone left with integrity that doesn’t realize the plan to close National Teachers Academy is a bad one? Get it together @ChiPubSchools #WeAreNTA chicagotribune.com/news/opin…
#thanks2NTA my 2nd grader is growing up with knowledge of inequality in the world and she is taught about her role, responsibility and power to change it through social justice work. #WeAreNTA #NTAmustSTAY

“While a new high school in the South Loop may be convenient and desirable, CPS may not accomplish this goal by using discriminatory criteria, disproportionately burdening African-Amer schoolchildren and flouting important provisions in the law" #WeAreNTA chicagotribune.com/news/ct-m…
