One of these days I'm going to make a whole thread connecting as many people's magics as possible. I WILL bridge the gap between magic types and how they associate with one another.

Im a fan of the way that the only reason TOWS was able to make a deal with Scott (his selflessness) is the same reason they stick out like a sore thumb

guys remember early Flight SMP when people had the headcanon that tf!scott had narcolepsy and fell asleep whenever he crashed or had to disconnect
all im saying is that we could use that headcanon again to worse purposes, haha

There's something so interesting that AJ is the one to figure it out tho, because she is one of the few in the academy that realizes that Scott is NOT infallible or just "good" like most others seem to think in the academy
she and her death +

also im losing my mind at how the book they found in the crypt basically described iron magic doing a similar thing to what tows used scott's magic to do (not taking it away but stopping it) and remembering the fairy blessings book comparing iron and ice

For one thats just not the subject of this movie and secondly one of the best Godzilla movies came out 25 years ago and is directly addressing post-war Japan trying to sweep its role in WWII under the rug. Godzilla is a supernatural punishment on Japan for this in GMK

Minus Zero isn’t without flaws (Minus One is better paced with stronger arcs for the characters imo) but this take I’ve seen more than once of “This movie sucks actually because they’re talking about the nukes but not Japan’s war crimes” is weird

finally watched godzilla minus one
i finally understand what that one meme meant when it was like "watching this film is like 'oh no these poor people what a tragedy they're going through, oh fuck right godzilla is in this'

Funnier interpretation however is that Atlas's punishment was to hold the primordials Ouranos (sky) and Gaia (earth) apart to keep them from crushing the world in their embrace
So in a way this is just AJ killing shubbledrift being prophesied
