The city literally folds in on itself.
This is still one of the wildest shots in any movie. 📽🍿

On this day in 1553, theologian Michael Servetus was executed for heresy after challenging the doctrine of the Trinity. His death remains a stark reminder of the cost of questioning religious authority.

My corporate boss framed me for a $3,000,000 wire fraud embezzlement scheme, but he completely forgot that I am the person who manages his secure cloud backups.
I received an emergency notification from our corporate compliance team at 6:00 PM yesterday, stating that my corporate credit card and digital signature had been used to route funds to an offshore account in the Cayman Islands.
I was frantically checking the transaction logs at my desk when my boss walked into my cubicle with a security guard.
Boss: "I'm sorry about this, but HR needs you to surrender your laptop and badge immediately pending a federal forensic investigation."

Vision was literally seconds away from losing the Mind Stone, then Captain America showed up. 😭🔥
Imagine if Cap had arrived just a little later… would Wanda have been able to stop Thanos alone, or was Vision doomed either way? 👀

My best friend since childhood is gay. I'm straight. I've told him that more times than I can count, and I'm running out of ways to say it.
We were eight when we met, two kids who bonded over a broken skateboard and a shared hatred of our math teacher. He was at my dad's funeral. I was the first person he came out to, at seventeen, in a parked car, shaking. I told him nothing would change, and I meant it.
Somewhere around twenty-two, things did. He started texting me "good morning" and "goodnight" every day. He'd show up at my place with my favorite takeout "just because." When I started seeing someone, he got quiet and distant for weeks, then acted like nothing had happened.
I told myself I was imagining it. Then, on a road trip, he turned the music down and said, "You know I'd be good for you, right?"
I said, as kindly as I could, "Man, I'm straight. I love you, but not like that."
He nodded and said, "Yeah. I know. Forget I said anything."

If Ned could subconsciously bypass a reality-altering magic spell just because they were best friends, does that mean the spell is completely useless against strong bonds?"

My fiancée invited her ex-boyfriend to our wedding, and when I told her I wasn't comfortable with it, she accused me of being insecure.
We've been together for almost four years, and our wedding is supposed to happen in three months. We've already booked the venue, paid several deposits, and started sending invitations to friends and family. Everything was going smoothly until last Sunday, when we were sitting on the couch reviewing the guest list.
I noticed a name I didn't recognize and asked her who he was.
"Oh, that's Daniel. He's an old friend of mine."
I asked how they knew each other, and she casually explained that they had dated for three years before we met. I put my phone down and asked why she hadn't mentioned that she was inviting her ex-boyfriend to our wedding.
She looked at me like I'd asked the most ridiculous question imaginable.
"Because we're friends now. We ended things years ago."
I told her I wasn't accusing her of anything, but I genuinely didn't understand why her ex needed to attend our wedding. She immediately became defensive and said she wasn't going to exclude someone from her life just because I felt threatened.
I tried to explain that I wasn't asking her to erase her past. I simply thought inviting an ex to our wedding was something we should have discussed together.
She picked up her phone and said, "If you trusted me, this wouldn't even be a conversation."
That sentence bothered me more than I expected.

I have held my breath through board meetings, turbulence, and traffic in Jakarta, but I never thought I would have to hold it for two straight hours during a massage.
My name is Paul, I'm a businessman. After a long trip and a week filled with a whole lot of work and meetings, getting a massage is one thing that has always gotten me back to 100%.
I have had different massage therapists work on me, some during business trips all over the world. The best I've ever had was when I traveled to Indonesia. Thai massage is one of my favorite forms of massage, and I was really looking forward to it after a 19-hour flight from South Africa to Indonesia.
It's crazy how he was expecting everything at the end.
My girlfriend's mother wants me to visit her.
She likely feels that our relationship is reaching its final stage and heading toward marriage, so she invited me over so we could formally get to know each other.
However, I am very reluctant to accept her invitation because, deep down, I know her daughter is not the type of person I want to spend the rest of my life with.
Feeling guilty, I haven't been able to bring myself to tell my girlfriend that we will never end up together, simply because she isn't what I am looking for in a wife.
How do you think my girlfriend will feel if I finally find the courage to tell her the truth? I don't want to hurt her feelings, but does keeping this to myself make me a bad person?

THOR NEVER GAVE UP ON LOKI
The more I think about their relationship, the more I realize Thor didn't always understand Loki.
He just refused to stop seeing him as his brother.
Even after the betrayals, the invasion of Earth, and everything Loki did, Thor still believed there was something worth saving.
That's why their final moments hit differently.
Thor didn't suddenly forgive everything Loki had done.
He simply recognized that Loki was more than the person he had become.
And for once, Loki didn't need to prove anything to him.
Their relationship was never about Thor fixing Loki.
It was about one brother refusing to stop believing in the other.
