We must bring a global end to this needle animal exploitation & cruelty
The cost of the monkeys — a proxy for the volume of clinical trials — is projected to reach Rmb150,000 ($21,000) at the start of 2026, up from an average of Rmb103,000 in 2025. ft.trib.al/Flpg9wn

OK so It’s Christmas Eve & petitioning Govt might not be front of mind today - but *please* take just 20 secs to sign this, calling for a funded national #climate resilience plan to help protect us all. Just 1700 more needed to get a Govt response! 🤞🙏

Very excited to see Poland's Parliament vote 339 - 78 to ban fur farming!
The issue united Poland's centrist PM and his conservative rival, Kaczyński, whose only objection was "I'd like it to be cut [more] quickly and radically"
Animal welfare is a unifying political issue

Incredibly heartening to see the large mainstream media coverage of the terrible acts committed by these high-profile “farmers” against these defenceless animals.
It’s clear that the public are disgusted by what is taking place in secrecy and wherever you fall on the issue of exploiting animals for food, one thing is ubiquitously agreed upon: you deserve to know the truth behind what you are spending your money on.
Huge thank you to my incredible team of tenacious, hard-working individuals who make incredible sacrifices to bring this footage out.
These animal abusers have been exposed in a big way, and a lot of that comes down to YOU getting behind our investigations by sharing, watching, commenting and donating.
To anyone else who continues to abuse animals, along with those who defend them or help cover up their crimes, including the regulatory bodies, who, even when faced with undeniable evidence of wrongdoing, still choose to do nothing - we will expose all of you individually for your gross negligence - your day of accountability is coming, one by one.
Forever for the animals - Joey

I would have saved her if I knew her as I would have done for any animal. It is late for her, she was just a number to them, meat on a plate, pigskin goods, a wasted life. I would have loved her to pieces but I never met her. SHE MATTERED, MY FRIENDS

This #NationalElephantAppreciationDay, know that circuses often rip baby elephants from their mothers, tether them with ropes & chains, & beat them with bullhooks to physically & psychologically break them 💔 They were just babies, with their entire lives stolen from them 😔

Retweet if you agree with me that animals deserve better than the world we've created for them. 🧡

Something is hiding in this boring-looking building:
30,000 pigs are slaughtered in it EVERY SINGLE DAY.
One pig every THREE SECONDS. 🤯
RT if you agree that something went wrong along the way when we started looking at animals as nothing but profit-makers. 😡

This is an incredibly clear depiction of the irrationality of the animal system purely from a prudential perspective--even leaving aside the more serious problem of mass violence at the system's core.
One way you could read this chart: Animal ag is so inefficient—and it comes at an unthinkable moral cost, AND it might start the next pandemic—that it would be the definition of lunacy to squander global carbon budgets to produce an ever-greater share of our food this way

ALT Infographic comparing land use to food output. Top bar: “Agricultural land.” A large orange block—“80 % Livestock: meat, dairy, textiles (38 million km²; 6 million km² cropland for feed + 32 million km² grazing)”—dominates, next to a small blue block—“16 % Crops for food (8 million km²).” Dashed lines point to two stacked boxes: Global calorie supply: orange 17 % from livestock vs. blue 83 % from plant-based food. Global protein supply: orange 38 % from meat & dairy vs. blue 62 % from plant-based food. Overall message: livestock occupies most farmland but yields a minority of the world’s calories and protein.

“I’d like to see mandatory CCTV in industrial pig and poultry units, as we now have in slaughterhouses, and a QR code on products allowing a consumer to tune in and watch the shed and processing plant in real time.”
My suggestion for more honest labelling of animal foods. 👇
We need honest labelling on meat and dairy products so we know what we're buying.
Right now, meat products hide behind outrageously deceptive marketing.
