Neurodivergents in the AI era:
Palantir CEO Alex Karp says the neurodivergent will outperform in the AI era: “We’re in a non-playbook world, and the playbook’s not that valuable.” “But if you’re a dyslexic, you can’t follow the playbook—so you invent new and generative things.”

We’re partnering with Accenture on independent evaluation of frontier AI—part of our recent commitment to embed evaluators at Anthropic. Both we and Accenture expect to invest at least $1 billion to build capacity in this area over the next five years. anthropic.com/news/accenture…

Anthropic presents this as an "independent evaluation" but will directly fund Accenture's work and has a prior commercial partnership with the firm for deploying its models, including training ~30,000 Accenture professionals on Claude. anthropic.com/news/accenture… anthropic.com/news/anthropic…

Palantir seems to be the only group of people in the space to understand what’s actually going on. I’m glad they’re partnered with Nvidia. They will be the reason the United States of America prospers as a nation.
EA AI safetyism increasingly looks like Marxism-Leninism for the algorithmic age. The old vanguard claimed privileged knowledge of the inevitable course of History. The new one claims privileged knowledge of the probabilistic course of Humanity. Both use an elaborate intellectual framework to reach the same political conclusion: a small group of enlightened people must constrain everyone else for their own good. That has never lead to anything except monumental human suffering.

A good meeting with the CEO of Palantir Technologies, Alex Karp. Step by step, we are developing cooperation with the American defense sector. Palantir is a renowned global company with strong potential, and there certainly are areas where we can be useful to one another, strengthening the defense of Ukraine, America, and our partners. We discussed areas of technological development – both in the context of combat operations and civilian needs. We agreed that our teams will stay in touch.

The hysterical reaction to Palantir’s “manifesto” demonstrates the total stupidity of how information disseminates and gets absorbed these days. I call it the packet curse. I’ve seen so many accounts claiming this is some sort of sudden declaration of intent, when nothing in the post is new. All of these arguments were fully set out in Karp and Zamiska’s book over a year ago. The post is basically a synopsis of the book. And if you read the actual book, you understand the grander context, which imho comes across as entirely reasonable. There were some great points in it. But of course nobody reads books anymore. And the lag between information becoming publicly available and being absorbed by the public/market consciousness only grows larger every day. This effect probably needs to be studied by academics focused on efficient market hypothesis. I think it resembles a sort of latent virus effect, where the true consequences of a piece info beginning to circulate don’t become apparent until something triggers an activation. It is a very weird environment. We are both over exposed to information and more under informed than ever.

Found an old storytel reader. just android with a skin slapped on top. took me 20 minutes to flash it. reminded me of jailbreaking my iphone as a kid just to get apps that apple decided i wasn't allowed to have. Crazy that vendors have been doing this for decades.

Which one of these is NOT a real Top-Level Domain (TLD)? 1. .bible 2. .lamborghini 3. .truck 4. .museum 5. .pizza My favorite is .pizza because why have a .com when you can literally live on a slice? 🍕 (Answer in the comments 👇)

The answer is .truck! 🚛 Yes even .lamborghini is a real TLD. It’s a "Brand TLD" owned by the company. Meanwhile, .car and .cars exist, but .truck still hasn't been approved by ICANN (though maybe in the 2026 round!). The domain world is deeper than most people think. 🌐
