Today, Rwanda welcomes global leaders, innovators, investors, and development partners to the Global Off-Grid Solar Forum & Expo 2026. The forum provides a platform to connect innovative solutions with investment, strengthen partnerships, and accelerate access to clean, reliable, and affordable energy, particularly in underserved communities. Rwanda has made universal electricity access a national priority, with the ambition of achieving this goal by 2029. Speaking at the Global Off-Grid Solar Forum & Expo 2026, Minister of State @ZINGIROArmand emphasised the importance of combining grid expansion with off-grid solar solutions to extend electricity access to more households and communities. By deploying complementary solutions tailored to different needs, Rwanda is working to ensure that rural and underserved communities also benefit from reliable electricity. The objective goes beyond expanding access: it is to improve livelihoods, power productive activities, and drive inclusive economic growth. #PowerOn #OffGridSolar2026
