So, he’s in-bound to Blighty, so it’s our last chance to share this festive little ditty, complete with a little festive mashup at the end inspired by @BBCSteveR’s recent efforts. Merry Christmas all 🎅🏻

A couple of days ago, I flicked through the PL relegation odds and from nowhere City were 15-1 to go down. Wondered then if a guilty verdict was coming. Bookies rarely get things wrong.
🚨 EXCLUSIVE: Manchester City found guilty on virtually all charges relating to breaches of Premier League financial regulations. #MCFC expected to appeal against verdict issued by independent commission. Sanctions undecided, process ongoing @TheAthleticFC nytimes.com/athletic/7049721…
Well, that’s been some Saturday on the football front. Firstly my @CityYouthFC U9s ran riot in an 8-0 win playing up a year as U10s. No. 2 son’s @stalbanscityfc u12 academy side won 4-2. The @stalbanscityfc senior side won 3-0 and then @BHAFC dismantled Arsenal. Happy Saturday!
It’s arrived @SayersBHAFC and it’s an absolute banger! I know it’s close to the training shirt but in the flesh it’s a top kit.
Doing my best @TonyIncenzo impression by turning up to watch Garforth Town v Guiseley. Feel like I’m cheating on the mighty St Albans City by watching another non-league team. #footballpyramid
#Argentina absolutely stinking out the World Cup final to the surprise of no one. 65 mins in, not a single shot on goal. Should have gone out 2 or 3 rounds ago. The complete opposite of the beautiful game.
The history of major tournaments is littered with teams who’ve stunk the place out but turned up for the semi and/or final. Tuchel’s side absolutely has it in them to just click like they did for 20 mins against Croatia 2nd half and first half injury time yesterday.
The sad thing for @USMNT is that during the World Cup, they’d actually won over lots of fans with the way they played and the exciting group of players they’d assembled. Trump’s intervention meant the whole footballing world were rooting against them and celebrating their exit.
It was noticeable that there was practically no enforced fan segregation in the stands at the Aztecca. This is the reason, it’s simply not needed. The Mexican fan guard of honour for the England fans shows everyone else how watching football can be. Elite fans the Mexicans 👏👏👏
The whole Balogun business is the perfect metaphor for Trump. Uses his unprecedented power to wade in on something he can’t even begin to understand, sullies, corrupts and strips it of all integrity and ultimately achieves absolutely nothing. Everything he touches turns to shit.
Credit where credit is due, I was quick to criticise the squad that Tuchel selected but across the five games, every substitution he's made has improved the team in that moment, and every squad player who's come on has made a contribution. Almost like Tuchel knows better than us
The Reform responses to this are hilarious. Claiming polls mean nothing, Reform are 10+ points ahead, they’ll storm actually elections. Lads, you’ve just got trounced in 6 by elections in a row against a historically unpopular PM and government.
🚨 NEW @Ipsos_in_the_UK / @LBC poll: Labour narrows the gap to 2 🚨
Reform UK 26% (-1)
Labour 24% (+4)
Conservative 18% (-1)
Greens 13% (-1)
Lib Dem 11% (-1)
Others 8% (-)

116? So one more than the number of breaches of financial regulations they are accused of? Sure, move along, nothing to see here 🙄
🚨 Manchester City have booked medical in New York for Elliot Anderson today.
Deal to cost £116m fee, no add-ons, all agreed with Nottingham Forest. 🔵🤝🏻

Genuinely, if someone asked me to list which English qualified full-backs I'd call up to replaced the unlucky Livramento, I reckon I'd be well into the 20s before I landed on Trevor Chalobah.
Hall
Alexander Arnold
Shaw
Mitchell
Hinshelwood
Lewis Skelley
Wan Bissaka
Walker-Peters
