βCompetitive personalities on and off the courtβ
Mind you, I enjoy this level of intensity and competitiveness on the court as my PG is one of the most competitive players, but no way this would be applauded if it were CC. The hit pieces and slander she would get.
Hypocrisy π
Congratulations to Caitlin Clark on another First Team All WNBA Team award in her second healthy (full) season in the WNBA.
A healthy CC is always scary for the rest of the league.
Next year π πππ
And watching her play in gainbridge, itβs worth the cost of admission π
Ella in Caitlin 1βs. Thatβs what Iβm talking about!!!!

Iβve never seen a league legit want a player to fail like this. Hit piece after hit piece. They are going to cover this in documentaries for years to come.
Notes on the Fever and their reputation within the WNBA, per @anniecostabile, @_Brian_Hamilton:
- An agent said clients regularly disable social media accounts before and after games against Indiana due to increase in toxic messages they say they received
- A different agent said clients have reported being called the N-word at Fever games "multiple times"; Fever say they have received no complaints about racial slurs from fans at home games
- Amber Cox plans to reach out to WNBA, WNBPA after Finals to tackle issue of player-fan dynamics
All in on #22

Kaitlin Chen was called slurs from the ATL stadium but nothing is done because the fan base isnβt large enough to get social media or media traction. Yet the Fever org had to investigate false βmonkeyβ noises because the fan base and haters were loud enough.
