Greetings from my new home, Luxembourg 🇱🇺👋 Made little posters to help explain the IB Learner profiles at school. Often use Keith’s work in the art room as it is so accessible #iteachart #internationalteaching #keithharing @ISLuxembourg

"To walk safely in Gaza, stay away from cars because they might be targeted, and avoid buildings because they could be bombed. Don’t head west toward the sea because gunboats may open fire. Don’t move too far north, east, or south either, those are yellow areas [occupied by the Israeli military], meaning certain death. Don’t look up at the sky, there are quadcopters watching. Don’t dig into the ground, they might think you’re digging tunnels or preparing an attack.
So what’s left? Where are we supposed to go?" - Israa Ar-Ramly, Palestinian journalist in Gaza.

I tell myself every day: Don’t die. Don’t get tired.
Check on the children. Look for water. Check if there are any holes in the tent so the water doesn’t leak in. Then stand up—don’t die.
Don’t you dare die from some silly illness. Resist. Save your tears for a more painful day. Don’t you dare say, “I’m tired.”
Look for food. Don’t be afraid of the bombing. Gather your things and flee. Set up a tent. Flee again—don’t get tired.
Write, and then write, and then write. Write your own death with your own hands—don’t let anyone write about you.
Live, and don’t die.

Israeli lawyer Ben Marmarelli says Palestinian prisoners he represents beg him not to visit because they're raped each time he is due to meet them.
This is a scene from Al Jazeera's shocking new documentary on Israel's systematic use of rape.

As a Palestinian you can't file a police complaint or go to court,
If you turn to the West for help, they'll call on Israel to investigate itself.
If you take matters into your own hand, you'll be condemned as a terrorist. And if you speak up you'll be called an antisemite

Yesterday Israel killed an 8 year old boy in Gaza wearing a backpack on the way home from school.
His name was Jad.
The only reason western mainstream news outlets didn’t report on his killing is because he’s Palestinian.

🚨BREAKING: CNN revisits Palestinian child Habiba Al-Askari, who was evacuated from Gaza to Jordan for urgent medical treatment after being left a triple amputee.
Her story highlights the fate of thousands of children in Gaza who remain at risk as access to timely evacuation and life-saving care continues to be severely limited amid the ongoing Israeli Genocide.
🚨Breaking: Palestinian child Habiba Al-Askari, evacuated to Jordan for treatment two days ago, is set to undergo the amputation of her leg and both arms tomorrow.
Her condition worsened due to delays in evacuation amidst Israel’s genocidal war on Gaza.
Thousands of sick and injured children face similar fates as Israel continues to block their access to life-saving treatment outside Gaza.

The “uninvolved civilian” they shot at was a SEVEN MONTH OLD BABY.
His name was Sam Fahd Abou Haikal.
Earlier today, during operational activity in the area of Hebron, IDF soldiers perceived a vehicle accelerating toward them.
An IDF soldier responded with single shots toward the vehicle. As a result, three Palestinians were injured and evacuated for medical treatment.
An initial inquiry found that those injured were uninvolved civilians. The incident is under review, and the findings will be submitted for review by the relevant authorities.
The IDF expresses deep sorrow for any harm caused to uninvolved individuals.

Wow…I had no idea..
UNRWA smuggled the Palestinian memory archive from its headquarters in Gaza, meaning the record of every Palestinian who became a refugee after the 1948 Nakba, to preserve their legitimate right to return and compensation in the event of a settlement..
