Ossoff: When he first announced the tariffs, you remember that? He called it Liberation Day, and it crashed the markets because it was clown policy. You remember that? OK, so follow me through on this. He announces the tariffs on April 2 of last year. The markets tank nonstop for like a week because it’s a disastrous trade policy, and six days into the crash, April 8, Trump buys millions in stock. I’m talking Amazon, Nvidia, Apple, Microsoft, Berkshire Hathaway, and then the very next morning, April 9, he posts on Truth Social, quote, “This is a great time to buy.” Three exclamation marks. OK, now listen to this. Three hours and 41 minutes after that post, one day after he bought millions in stock, he canceled the tariffs and triggered one of the biggest same-day rebound rallies in market history. He’s trying to get money. And you saw, now he’s offering paid subscriptions to presidential announcements, right? Just understand what’s for sale here: The sitting president’s pronouncements on war and peace and economic policy delivered first to paying customers. What an absolute crook.

Trump is re-labeling whole swaths of the U.S. border “defense areas” so that the military can take over. When I was at DHS, our lawyers would’ve called this “stupid” and “illegal” and “dystopian.” Because it is.

Marie Wilcox realized she was the last person on Earth who could speak the Wukchumni language fluently, so at 82, she taught herself to use a computer and spent seven years typing a 6,000-word Wukchumni dictionary, the first written record of the language in history, to save it from extinction.

Your president pardoned people who did this to me and like you, he wants to make the lives whole or better than before January 6 while not giving a shit about officers.

What's wrong with Trump's $1B White House reno? Four biggies. 1) He lied that taxpayers wouldn't be on the hook for it. 2) Trump asked Congress to fund it. Congress declined; Trump is doing it anyway. 3) Trump is robbing other pots of money, including for the Secret Service and Nat'l Parks, to do it again, in defiance of Congress 4) Trump is soliciting money from unknown donors for unknown amounts, opening the door to corruption and influence peddling. So, yes, this is much worse than a home reno gone wrong! It's a massive separation of powers issue, and Congress ought to make clear NO FUNDING means NO FUNDING. moneywise.com/news/top-stori…

I’m seeking an official oversight visit with a bipartisan Senate Delegation to the USS Lincoln to investigate the reported alarming conditions. Unlike Donald Trump, I've seen active duty. The way he's treating our service members as he carries out this illegal war is not just disgusting; it’s dangerous. These sailors are owed a sense of when they will go home. The stories of crew members threatening to jump off the ship are a frightening alarm bell as to how bad the situation has become: moldy showers, sporadic hot water, rationed meals and soap, broken toilets, and grueling 12- to 16-hour shifts with no days off. Congress must do its duty to provide oversight and hold the administration accountable for these actions. ms.now/news/navy-meeting-san…

A federal judge just blocked Trump’s attempt to control mail-in voting — again — stating, “the executive branch has no authority to regulate elections.” The Constitution gives the power to administer elections to the states, NOT the president. usnews.com/news/best-states/…

Vaccines save lives. Doctors know it. Scientists know it. Decades of research has proven it. And millions more children are alive and healthy as a result. When public health guidance strays from scientific evidence, it creates confusion, erodes trust in life-saving innovations, and makes it harder for families to access the care they need. We should never let politics stand in the way of medical care. Especially when it comes to our kids.

The difference in prize money for the men's vs women's TdF overall win... Hear me out, I know the men do 21 stages and women do 9 stages, SO to put things into better perspective - that's roughly €23,800 per stage for the men and €5,555 per stage for the women. So when you break it down, that's a gap of roughly €18,200 for each stage... not to mention that I'm quite sure the women would race more stages given the opportunity, so there's a long way to go for equality on this one🤔 What do you think?

Hunter Biden: "In a four year period coming out of a pandemic, my dad created more jobs than any other president. He cut child poverty in half. He passed more legislation than any president since LBJ. He expanded NATO. He stood up to Putin. He added two countries to NATO. All of those things are lost in the mix of the insanity of what's now -- the chaos, falsehood and insanity. A UFC fight on the lawn of the WH, painting the Reflecting Pool blue, 3700 trades in February, building a tower in Abu Dhabi, Trump Tower in Saudi Arabia, and we're gonna turn Gaza into a golf course. I don't know of any president that's just as a human being is as a good a man as my dad."

He purchased an ice cream truck not for profit, but to create a brighter future for his children. In Cincinnati, Ohio, Joel Wegener, a father of ten, sought meaningful employment, self confidence, and independence for his two adult children with Down syndrome. In 2021, he acquired an ice cream truck and launched Special Neat Treats, a family operated venture rooted in love, purpose, and community connection. His children actively participate by serving customers at neighborhoods, schools, and local gatherings, gaining valuable work experience while spreading happiness to those they encounter. Yet this initiative extends far beyond ice cream. It represents dignity. It represents opportunity. It represents the belief that every individual deserves the chance to thrive. Customers arrive seeking treats, but they depart with something far more meaningful: the inspiring message that love can create more than a business. It can build a promising future, one scoop at a time.

My takeaways from the super mountain stage weekend 👇🏼 1. We should not act as if nothing has happened Yes, I am talking about those inhuman doping controls at 2 am and 5 am. How is that even legal? In no other sports would they dare to wake up the biggest stars in the middle of the night with a test that can be made the same in the morning with the same result. And yes, as Pogi hinted in the interview, I believe it too, that it could definitely be one of the reasons for the crash. The coincidence happening exactly a day after that interrupted sleep is just too big. Studies on athletes show that even partial sleep restriction slows reaction time, reduces attention, and impairs decision-making. And we shouldn’t act as if nothing happened. These kinda night tests shouldn’t be allowed when sleep is the biggest point of recovery, especially between two hard mountain stages. #TDF2026

An 86-year-old Pennsylvania farmer chose preserving his land over a massive $15 million payday, turning down AI data center developers to protect his 261-acre family farm. For over 60 years, Mervin Raudabaugh has farmed his 261-acre property in Cumberland County, Pennsylvania—the very land where he raised his family and nurtured a thriving wildlife habitat. When AI developers targeted his rural area for a massive data center expansion, they offered him over $60,000 per acre, totaling more than $15 million. Rather than sell to developers, the 86-year-old farmer resolutely declined. "I was not interested in destroying my farms," Raudabaugh explained, choosing instead to sell his development rights to a land preservation program for just under $1.9 million. This selfless decision ensures the productive farmland, woodlands, and wetlands will never be built upon or dug up, protecting it in perpetuity. Raudabaugh’s stand highlights a growing national tension as tech companies rapidly expand energy-hungry, resource-intensive AI data centers across the rural United States. These massive infrastructure developments require immense acreage and electricity, often sparking local opposition over lost agricultural land, water depletion, and environmental disruption. While the financial temptation for struggling farming families is immense, Raudabaugh hopes his conservation efforts inspire others to protect America's agricultural heritage. For him, safeguarding his lifelong home so that future generations could live there and experience its natural beauty was worth infinitely more than any tech-fueled windfall. source: Thompson, C. (2026). Why this Pennsylvania farmer said no to $15 million from A.I. data center developers. PennLive.
