tonight my 11 year old learned some kids get soap in their mouths for talking back or have to stand against a wall with a timer. he was genuinely shocked and thought his friend was lying about parents doing that to their kids. anyway now i get to say “see how kind i am??” 😌

i just went to starbucks to and asked for just a cup of ice and she said that i have to buy something with it which like okay i get it you lose money by giving out free cups and i was like okay can i just buy a cup of ice and she said no that they don’t have a button for that? idc about being charged for a cup of ice but how are you going to not have a way to pay for it. she said it’s a new policy but like dude i just want a cup of ice i’ll pay anything i just don’t want to buy a drink or food i’m not gonna eat?
