181 followers 🎉 small steps but I’m grateful to have been able to connect with real people here not bots (mostly 😄). Thanks to those who have reached out!
Next stop 200!
I was a super shy kid who would’ve run a mile before even posting anonymous thoughts
I was focused on differences and how they made us less or more than others. But the funny thing is we’re all the same and all different, which is just bloody perfect
If you’re into:
- inner work
- AI
- solopreneuring
- parenting
- laughing at the beauty and absurdity of life
Let’s connect 🤝🥳
Have some cool things to share next week!

Beautifully said, and it's kind of crazy how true this is and how deep it goes. Like in parenting, if you see yourself and people as good and innocent, then when your child is difficult. You will see the innocence underlying behaviour, and because you see that, you will act in a way that speaks to that. In doing that, you actually will bring that to the surface, whereas the parent who does not see that and sees people as fundamentally bad/threat will perceive that in their child and respond with force to stamp it out

Super interesting. Often in coaching, we talk about how, as you bring awareness and work with that first layer, we create the space for deeper stuff to come up. This deeper stuff is often much more challenging to be with and to work with, and sometimes we feel like we've gone backwards. That's why I love this kind of nuance, because it helps your mind to understand the map and to kind of relax, like, "Oh yeah, yes, that does make sense. I don't have to get all my defences up again."

“At a certain point you go, am I delusional?” - Be delusional, the world will catch up
This is very cool. An open-source Loom replacement and toolkit that lets your agent easily work with your screen and webcam and edit videos
Introducing Yap - a tool that gives your agent the eyes, ears and hands to record and edit videos
No UI, no AI, just primitives to record your screen, use the camera, and process videos
Works with Claude/Codex/Grokbot/everyone...

Celebrating 200 followers 🥳 in one sense, it's minuscule, but in another, it’s really cool because it was stuck at double digits for years. That's been a bit of a shift recently for me energetically, to be able to share and relate more with people rather than some faceless crowd or abstract idea
It's kind of weird, but you can almost be saying almost the same thing, but there's kind of a felt sense of someone when you feel like they are talking as an actual person and to an actual person
Share from the heart and forget about the numbers, they’ll do their own thing
Happy travels 🙏
just got into anthropic's claude startups program. application took maybe 10 mins, approval came back almost straight away
free year of claude team, $1000 api credits and a pile of partner discounts (the elevenlabs one alone is worth it)
few notes if you're thinking of applying
they say they want a company email that matches your website. i applied with my old domain and it was fine
"what are you building on claude" i just said where we're at (pre-PMF), what it does and how we actually use claude. kept it plain
once you're in, claim rewards in the console. api credits expire after 6 months so don't sit on them
i'm building awaken btw, a partner that works with you on your biggest challenges right in the middle of daily life awaken.is
Hi creators and builders 🙏 on this journey, we're left alone with our thoughts and challenges. It confronts us over and over: the only thing holding us back is ourselves.
I wanted to make something that helps with that journey, that helps us see ourselves, free ourselves, and create work and lives that we love.
That's what I'm here for, and I would love to connect with more of you with the courage to walk your own paths 👋
You know that feeling when you mess up and somebody can tell on you? You really, really want them to not tell on you. Please, please don't.
If you go to them with that kind of energy, they're going to sense it. They're going to sense that, whatever you do, whether you're nice to them, etc., there's an ulterior motive. There's a part of them that's going to resent that you're trying to manipulate them in that way, to limit them in that way, to choose their action for them and influence their decision in that way, because it's not authentic.
But if you can accept that they have the right to do that, they have the right to escalate, and that you have made your peace with that, then you can show up just open, willing to accept whatever happens.
You'll be able to look them in the eye. Tell them exactly where you stand, what went wrong, what you understand, and what you're going to do. Let the chips fall where they may.
They'll sense your sincerity, and they will do what they freely choose to do having sensed that. Let me tell you, either way, you're a winner.
