Not that I say very much, but I'm mostly on Mastodon these days -- you can reach out there: @[email protected] . If you are on Bluesky, I’m on Bridgy Fed so you can also follow me at @etheriau[email protected] .
Still on Mastodon, but now at @[email protected] now or @etheriau[email protected] if you are on bluesky.
(4/4) Thank you for the recognition and thank you to everyone who has helped and will continue to contribute to making our customers wildly successful!
(3/4) While I may be the face of these initiatives, I am very fortunate to be surrounded and supported by a highly talented team in my immediate Apptio family and my broader IBM family that helps make the impossible look easy.
(2/4) This is a special recognition for those who have delivered on the seemingly impossible promises our Sales team made to our customers. While various factors have fed into this, a considerable portion of this year's recognition is from our delivery on Azure Marketplace.
(1/4) Apptio has a long tradition of recognizing people who go above and beyond and are pillars of our cultural values. Last week, I was honored to receive the prestigious Wrench Award.

BIRDING is becoming more popular in the U.S. all the time! This weekend, everyone is talking about the Superb Owl ... AND some kind of Swift!
ALT A simple painted portrait of the face of a Great Horned Owl, with staring yellow eyes, orange-brown feathers on the face, and two tufts of feathers on top of the head.
Super excited to be at the #lemaycarmuseum where Steve Saleen unveiled the Saleen 302! Beautiful car which was right next to the sharp Saleen S1 that was also there! saleen.com/vehicles/saleen-3…

Its super exciting that #IBM has announced their intention to acquire #Apptio! When I was at IBM Think in May, it was amazing to see how much we had in common and how we can put our powers together to help our customers! Onto the next Chapter for Apptio!

In #Seattle Ballard Neighborhood, there’s a few things that many people (including locals) don’t know about, including Seattle’s Largest Great Blue #Heron Colony at Commodore Park @ Ballard Locks — super exciting to visit these days with all the chicks! myballard.com/2023/05/24/her…
On June 3rd, stop by for a special event by HeronHelpers.org where there will be scopes so you can see them up close! See you there!
On my way back from IBM’s Think Conference. This is cross post from my Mastodon, but due to the character limits, I’ll do most of this in a thread.
And for my HPC friends, IBM also talked about IBM Vela research.ibm.com/blog/AI-sup…... — I still miss playing with the SGI Onyx!
There’s a lot of things she covered in this talk, but the bigger take aways for me was the DEI ones, particularly with AI models getting formed — we must teach them to not have biases and to not infer “facts” based on a lack of data.
