BREAKING: Democratic Congressman Joe Morelle takes bold action by announcing the introduction of a constitutional amendment to reverse the corrupt Supreme Court's fascist presidential immunity ruling.
This is EXACTLY what's needed right now...
"I will introduce a constitutional amendment to reverse SCOTUS’ harmful decision and ensure that no president is above the law. This amendment will do what SCOTUS failed to do—prioritize our democracy,” Morelle wrote X.
Legal experts are understandably sounding the alarm after the court ruled 6-3 that presidents have absolute immunity for "official acts" they take while in power and so cannot be prosecuted for crimes.
For all practical purposes, this new ruling crowns the president king. If Trump wins this election, his power will be virtually unlimited and the legal system will be powerless to stop him.
Unless something is done and done fast, we could be witnessing the end of American democracy.
