VC is notoriously difficult to break into, so if you’re looking for roles, check out the John Gannon Blog! Tons of job openings that aren’t posted publicly on LinkedIn or firm websites can be found there — it’s an easy way to stay in the loop on new opportunities

Hosted a closed-door AI Roundtable with C-Suite execs from leading tech firms with @eugenejylee. Of the attendees, most were heading up teams at late stage startups, unicorns, or public firms. All were evaluating new AI tools on the market.
To encourage full transparency, we agreed to keep the company and individual names anonymous 🤫
These are the key adoption challenges we’re hearing across the board:
- implementation is difficult
- security and trust is dubious for current solutions
- lack of clear ROI
- the tradeoff of building vs buying new AI comes down to the perceived costs of implementation and whether there is a long-term competitive advantage from building the tech in-house

It’s an amazing thing to see builders supporting other builders.
Incredible night in SF speaking with a group of founders in the AI agent space. @MikhilRaja brought @eugenejylee and I to the table to learn about (I) the right way to build an agent, (II) the best GTM strategy for agentic tech, (III) API access and competition, and (IV) how to ensure every version update to an LLM increases the value of your startup instead of decreasing it
