According to the results of the Impact of MS Symptoms survey, people living with MS experience an average of 14 symptoms throughout together.

When asked for an action that could make the biggest difference to speeding up the diagnosis at a European level, participants voted for better training and guidance for general doctors on early signs as the first priority #EMSP2026 @eumsplatform
We asked participants what caused the biggest delay in receiving an MS/NMOSD/MOGAD diagnosis. The most popular answer was that early symptoms were not recognised as possible MS/NMOSD/MOGAD by healthcare professionals #EMSP2026 @eumsplatform

I've heard the term 'isolation' mentioned so many times after a diagnosis, and I can't imagine how it feels. In my case, it was different; after the diagnosis, I received support from family and friends, and I saw who I could relate to. I am very thankful for that!
