There's one right answer here and it's Jona Lomu.
Who's the most unstoppable athlete you've ever seen in his prime? Not the greatest career, just the guy where the other team had zero answers and everybody watching knew it. Any sport.

The numbers were not good at 230 but okay now
I really hope that I see good numbers on the cricket apps in the morning

5 years ago, Texas summer time demands were much lower than they are now. But the costs were higher. Now, power demand has strongly grown, and power prices are down. What changed? Solar and batteries. Texas' economic growth is the envy of many. Renewables are fueling it.

The main people who want nuclear power are unable to build own or operate nuclear power. They're good at tweeting though

Surely you know that much of the info in that post is false? Are you knowingly spreading misinformation? xitter.cf/DavidOsmond8/status/21…

Drew, there are currently 4346 utility wind turbines on Australia's NEM. Less than 5000 total across Australia. By 2032, we might have 7000 turbines, not 31,000. Only WA has turbines taller than 250m. The direct land area impact for wind is very small. ourworldindata.org/land-use-…

This is what happens when people who don't understand electricity make decisions about electricity. Gas turbines (by themselves) were always a bad idea for data centres
Behind the meter gas power has become a common path for data centers to get power faster. But it turns out operating a city-scale utility is no joke (turbine shafts breaking, low uptimes). It's hell for social licenes (if you think communities hate data centers, try data centers with 40 jet engines running non-stop!). And it leaves these facilities quite exposed to future gas price risk, as Aniruddh illustrates below.

Gosh. I watch Manchester United play football now and I feel pity for my friends that insist on following them. That game against Bournemouth was incredible.

Solar has overtaken nuclear. A decade ago it supplied 1% of the world's power. In 2025 it met three quarters of global demand growth. Almost nobody saw it coming. I spoke to Jocelyn Timperley at BBC Future about why. bbc.co.uk/future/article/202…

This is a great initiative from the Greens and I thank this astroturf group for bringing it to my attention
Australian Energy Producers condemns the Greens’ threat to hold R&D Tax Incentive reforms to ransom over demands for higher taxes on Australia’s oil and gas industry. Singling out gas producers would undermine investment, innovation and energy security. energyproducers.au/news/gree…
