Beyond delighted to see #TheCure included in @thetimes best thrillers of 2025 so far. That trigger-happy psychotic president? He's mine. "Smith’s novel is a commentary on the contemporary... a thought-provoking thriller with much to say about our obsession with looking youthful."

I am so excited about this! Love this cover for #ChildZero, huge thanks to Mark Swan and all the team @OrendaBooks! Imagine if young people stopped having children. How far would a government go to intervene?

And @ChildrenInRead 2026 is live! A fantastic selection of books for an incredible cause: @BBCCiN I am offering a signed, dedicated copy of The Cure for anyone who fancies a little thriller to pass the time, lot 182 just click here: bit.ly/4dhlCDz Happy bidding!

What a glorious day with my good friend @AwaisKhanAuthor in Oxford. From perfect blue skies to thundering downpours we took in lunch & @blackwelloxford before racing to the Oxford leg of @kslitfestlondon for some fascinating talks. Can't wait for Awais's new book next spring!

Happy Publication Day to Emma Burnett for her novella Ex Partum, from @atthisarts. It's a cracking dystopian read! Find out more and order here: emmaburnett.carrd.co/ #scifi #newrelease

My scary face for a scary problem: author scamming. Yup, even the creative world cannot avoid the dreaded #scam. Radio 4's You and Yours covered this today, including my experience of fake podcast fees & book group requests. Worth a listen to avoid falling prey to those scammers.
