Hey, so it's going to take a moment for things to fully activate, but I wanted to announce that my Et*s*y shop is officially open again! I apologize for the late opening- I'm very nervous this time around for some reason and I don't know how much has changed. Link in bio!

People are going to say they’re stripping her down from her character, but realistically, if your entire identity in a franchise is liking someone, that’s simply bad characterization, and I’m sure this is something sega realized. Amy is her own person outside of liking Sonic !!!
SEGA removes Amy Rose's romantic feelings for Sonic from her Japanese character profile!
The official Japanese #Sonic Channel has updated Amy Rose's biography, removing all explicit references to her longtime crush on Sonic.
Her previous profile described her as a girl in love with Sonic who constantly chased him and even called herself his girlfriend, a character trait associated with Amy since her debut in 1993.
The new description takes a different approach, presenting her as an energetic, positive and courageous hedgehog who leads her friends and never backs down when they're in danger. It also highlights her Piko Piko Hammer and dedication to self-improvement.
Interestingly, Sonic is no longer mentioned anywhere in her main character description. The change has sparked discussion among fans, especially given how closely Amy's feelings for Sonic have been associated with her character for decades.
SEGA has not provided an official explanation for the rewrite.
What do you think about this change to Amy's characterization?

Oof I might have to mute this post. My bad for being so casual about this!
I’m gonna get hate for this and I don’t care- but I think this is fine. As a kid; I was so sick and tired finding fictional girls to relate to when a bunch of franchises had the “one” female in the group who’s only quality about them involved another boy anyways.

I’m sure this will have its downsides. But like everyone I’ve spoken to in person find Amy annoying because of her Sonic obsession. IDK Sorry, but this is how I feel. I think Sonamy is super cute and the sprinkles should def exist but I don’t think any ship should be canon 🤷♀️
My superiority was evident before we ever began #ShadowTheHedgehog

Pls know that if u follow me do not expect for me to draw art of ur fave media forever, I am but a feather in the wind on a journey with no focus on my destination, if it seems as though the wind has ceased to carry me, a simple fart from a creature will drift me onward once more

If you booked for townsplace suites make sure to check your email because they’re cancelling a lot of people’s reservations
Do you ever just stare at your own ocs and hope and pray that you’ll just finally be able to vomit out their story to the world someday
