I'm from Lubbock. 300k people live there and it's about 40% Democrat. 80% of Lubbock is of voting age 18+. That means there's roughly 100k Democrats in tiny Lubbock. A few thousand Dems showing up to a rally in a city where there's nothing else to do isn't difficult

Calling the flag a "complicated symbol" isn't hating America. Cheering a war that sends our kids to die in Iran is what hates this country. You can love it and still say it's unfinished. Warmongers don't get to define patriotism.

Dan Patrick accused his opponent of being a Socialist, Communist and Marxist. His opponent, Vikki Goodwin, is not any of those pejoratives. Goodwin is a four-term member of the Texas House. She is the polar opposite of Dan Patrick. She listens before she speaks and she is not a bully. She is respectful of opposing viewpoints. She is a champion for strengthening public schools.
