The safety of our athletes and others involved in the Race is our first priority, on the subject of Covid-19 we regard the knowledge of the UK Government medical and scientific experts as beyond our own. 1/2

This is what the River Severn looks like at 5.75m which is equal to the highest recorded. Set to peak later today. The nearest we could get to the boathouse (safely) was the other side of Pitchcroft racecourse.
