Progress worth sharing from EIE's Educator Intelligence Layer. Our latest synthetic test cycle represents 300 of 341 staff responses (88%), with all 300 findings held for human review. Zero have been analysed or published. That's intentional. We tested 1,266 answers: • 58 redacted • 1,208 stored unchanged Separately, our redaction engine caught 37 of 37 deliberately planted identifiers and successfully failed closed, preventing unredacted data from reaching external services. We also identified an integration gap between importing responses and running redaction across the full dataset. We know what needs fixing, and it's part of our next steps. No real educator data, no shortcuts and no pretending we're further along than we are. Building carefully, testing thoroughly, and earning trust. Provider independent. Privacy focused. Human reviewed. Built for educators. Designed to help every learner thrive evolvingineducation.org

Introducing the Educator Intelligence Layer (EIL). Education doesn't have a shortage of resources, research, or good intentions. What it often lacks is a clear understanding of what educators actually need to help every learner succeed. We're building the Educator Intelligence Layer to help change that. EIL is an AI-assisted intelligence platform designed to listen to educators, understand their experiences, identify patterns, surface unmet needs, and turn meaningful feedback into actionable insight. Not another resource library. Not another chatbot. And never AI making decisions about people. The goal is to help education leaders better understand the realities of their schools, recognize where support is needed, and make more informed decisions grounded in educator experience. Because educators shouldn't have to keep repeating themselves, and the people making decisions shouldn't have to work in the dark. Educator Voice → Data → Intelligence → Insight → Action. Built with teachers, for teachers, and with a bigger purpose in mind: creating better conditions for every child to learn, grow, and thrive. This is just the beginning. Educators aren't short on resources. They're swamped with them. What's hard is getting what they need when they need it. I said that on a call @boardyai set up with David Blumenthal, who built Eddie, an AI research tool that matches 400,000 peer-reviewed studies to a teacher's own context. He added the leadership side. School leaders have data, dashboards and logins, but they rarely hear why something isn't working or what's getting in the way. That's the gap we're building the Educator Intelligence Layer for at @evolvinginedu. Teachers give feedback, and leaders can see where support is needed and where practice is already strong. Schools are already spending money on support. This gives them a better look at where it should go. Free to schools 💙 Visit: evolvingineducation.org to learn more

Educators don't need another dashboard. They need to be heard. We're building the Educator Intelligence Layer (EIL) to turn educator voice into meaningful insights that help schools understand what's working, what's missing, and where support is needed most. When we listen to educators, we change more than education. We change what becomes possible for every child, and for generations to come. Human-centered. Privacy-first. AI-assisted, never AI-decided. #EvolvingInEducation #EducatorVoice #EducationInnovation Learn more about our work and support our mission at: evolvingineducation.org

🎯 EIE’s 30-Day Challenge 30 donors 30 days One shared mission. We’re challenging 30 people to sign up to round up their @Visa or @Mastercard purchases to the nearest dollar through RoundUp.org to support Evolving in Education’s mission to Revolutionize Public Education. Every child deserves the chance to thrive. Every learner deserves an education that helps them reach their full potential. And every generation deserves a future we can be proud to leave them. Small contributions can help build something bigger: A future where every child is given the opportunity to discover who they can become, and no child’s potential is left unrealized. ❤️ Will you be one of our 30? Take the challenge, then tag a friend to join us. 🔗 Sign up to support @evolvinginedu: roundup.org/nonprofits/evolv…
Our children deserve better. And we can do better. I started Evolving in Education (@evolvinginedu) because I believe every child should have access to an education that enriches their life, expands what they believe is possible, and prepares them for what comes next. That starts with listening. We’re building the Educator Intelligence Layer to help schools understand what educators and learners actually need, so better decisions can lead to better support and better learning. You can help us build it. With RoundUp.org, you connect your card in about 30 seconds. Your everyday purchases round up to the nearest dollar, and the spare change supports EIE. Coffee. Gas. Groceries. A few cents at a time can become meaningful change. Together, you’ve already helped us raise more than $10,000. We’re now preparing to launch our pilot as we complete the EIL MVP. And right now, every new supporter who rounds up for at least 3 months triggers an additional $25 for EIE. You don’t have to give more. Just be part of it. Because our children are counting on us to get this right. They deserve better. Let’s build better. 👉 Join EIE through RoundUp: roundup.org/nonprofits/evolv… Learn more: evolvingineducation.org

The future of a child can be shaped by something as small as spare change. We’re inviting you to help us build it. Through RoundUp.org, you can connect your card in about 30 seconds. From there, everyday purchases simply round up to the nearest dollar. That difference comes to Evolving in Education. Those cents help us listen to educators, uncover what schools need, and turn that insight into better support for teaching and learning. No extra donation to remember. No complicated commitment. Just everyday purchases creating a little more possibility for the next generation. And right now, when a new supporter rounds up for at least 3 months, EIE receives an additional $25. Your coffee. Your groceries. Your gas. A few cents at a time, helping build a better future for every learner. 👉 Join us through RoundUp: roundup.org/nonprofits/evolv…

Please help us give a warm welcome to Zoyakhan Pathan, our Data Analytics & Intelligence Advisor. ❤️ Zoya brings a strong background in data analytics, technology, research, visualization, and business intelligence to EIE. She has a natural curiosity for digging into problems from different angles while questioning what the numbers are telling us, ultimately looking for what may be driving an outcome. Her perspective is already proving valuable as we build the Educator Intelligence Layer (EIL). Through her Insight Answers initiative and her master’s work, she’s helping us think beyond the problems we can see today and anticipate the ones we haven’t encountered yet. We’re very glad to have her on this journey. Welcome, Zoya! Learn more at: evolvingineducation.org

A lot of teacher surveys ask how the new edtech is working. Very few ask how the teacher is actually doing. I said that out loud today during a conversation @boardyai set up for me with someone who works across EdTech and K-12. Saying it to a stranger made something I’d been wrestling with while we build the @evolvinginedu Educator Intelligence Layer much clearer. Schools collect a lot of feedback about tools: Did you like it? Did it work? Would you use it again? Those questions have value. But they don’t tell us much about workload, support, school climate, unmet needs, or the everyday reality of classroom experience. And that gap matters. Teachers are leaving the profession, while the pipeline of people entering it isn’t keeping pace. Educators are also the most significant in-school influence on student learning. When we support one educator well, the impact can extend to hundreds of students over time. That’s why we’re starting with teacher voice about overall needs, rather than asking teachers to rate another product. Our goal is a survey that takes about 5–7 minutes. Teachers already have enough on their plates. A feedback tool shouldn’t become another burden. But the conversation also highlighted some harder questions: Would this actually fit into a workflow teachers already use? Are administrators actively looking for a better way to understand these needs? We haven’t answered those questions yet. And honestly, that’s important. We don’t want to build something simply because we think it should exist. We want to understand whether it solves a real problem in a way that works for the people who would actually use it. We ask teachers to rate the tools. We rarely ask about the day they used them in. Educators, when was the last time a survey asked about your day? #TeacherVoice #EvolvingInEducation

We’re building the Educator Intelligence Layer. Not a chatbot. Not a teacher evaluation system. Not an AI that decides for schools. EIL is decision-support infrastructure: Educator Voice → Data → Intelligence → Insight → Action The backend, import pipeline, privacy gate, AI analysis engine, and human review controls are working now. This is still an MVP/prototype. Next is validation, then a small controlled school pilot. Teachers are already telling us what they need. We need better ways to listen, while humans stay responsible for what happens next. AI assists. Humans decide. Built with teachers, for teachers, by teachers. evolvingineducation.org #EvolvingInEducation #EducatorVoice #ResponsibleAI #EdTech

🌟 SPOTLIGHT SATURDAY | Emmanuel Obadoni Today, we’re shining the spotlight on @EObadoni, EIE’s Lead Software Architect & Developer. Emmanuel is a Machine Learning/AI Engineer and researcher specializing in intelligent systems, large language models, responsible AI, and machine learning infrastructure. His work spans AI reasoning and evaluation, LLM development, computer vision, and privacy-focused intelligent technologies. He is also the Founder and Lead ML Engineer of Velen AI, a privacy-first AI platform focused on responsible human-AI interaction. At Evolving in Education, Emmanuel is helping build the technology behind our Educator Intelligence Platform. His work is focused on turning educator feedback and data into meaningful insight, helping identify patterns and support gaps, and creating practical tools that can help people make better-informed decisions. But what we value just as much as his technical expertise is the way he approaches the work. We don't want to build AI simply because we can. We want to build technology that is useful, measurable, reliable, responsible, and grounded in the real world. That's the kind of thinking Emmanuel brings to EIE. We’re incredibly grateful to have his expertise helping us build what comes next. Thank you, Emmanuel, for helping us turn educator voice into intelligence that can lead to meaningful action. 🧠💻🌎 #SpotlightSaturday #EvolvingInEducation #EducatorIntelligence #ResponsibleAI #EdTech #ArtificialIntelligence #EducationInnovation

Educator voice becomes data Data becomes intelligence Insight becomes action evolvingineducation.org
Something new is taking shape at Evolving in Education (@evolvinginedu). We’re preparing to launch the pilot of our Educator Intelligence Layer (EIL), a human-centered, AI-assisted platform designed to turn educator voice into meaningful insight and action. Because teachers are already telling us what they need. We need better ways to listen. The goal isn’t to replace educators with AI. It’s the opposite. Listen. Understand. Prioritize. Respond. We want to help schools and communities see patterns, understand needs, identify gaps, and make better-informed decisions about how to support the people doing the work. This pilot is an important step toward something we’ve believed in from the beginning: Education works better when the people closest to it have a meaningful voice in shaping it. More to come. We’re listening.
