Been without power for more than 5 hours. We have yet to receive an update. Apparently @cpsenergy is still assessing the situation. Wow.

I have a news story about how @amazon's summer shutdown of Chinese retailer's stores in turn affected many American small business owners. Their stores were frozen, along with their funds. Nearly 6 months later, funds are still frozen and these businesses are struggling.

I know because I am one of them. We have gone through the appeals process... which is not getting us anywhere. We have had to hire an attorney. We are not the only ones that got swept up in @amazon's effort to crackdown on China. Hundreds of thousands of dollars are being held.

Which may not be a lot of money to @amazon, but is enough to kill small business owners. Shutdown our stores, but gives us back our money! @CBSNews @ABC @NBCNews @FoxNews @ABCMireya

So senseless
A M G@audreymg092824 May 2022
My daughter’s beautiful teacher was the teacher who was killed in Uvalde, TX. Eva (Ms Mireles) taught Gabby in elementary school. She was a beautiful person & dedicated teacher. She believed in Gabby & went above & beyond to teach her as you can see below. There are no words.

“My niece, Eva Mireles, approximately 17 yr teacher for UCISD along with another teacher and 18 children lost her lives to a senseless tragic shooting. I'm furious that these shooting continue, these children are innocent, rifles should not be easily available to all.“ From fam

Just walked out of @bucees a little annoyed. Spent more than $100 on t-shirts, food and drinks. Needed 2 paper cups for sunflower seeds. Cashier charged me the same as though the cups were full of soda!Really? Said it’s company policy. I get that you need to charge, but $3?!?!?

From District Court to Bexar County Judge. I can think of no better man for the job than my dear friend Judge Peter Sakai. He is an incredibly compassionate and innovative man driven by an innate desire to serve his community. Vote for @JudgePeterSakai
