October has had its say. Now, November gets a turn.
And there is still so much to learn, question, build and become. New ideas will find their way into conversations, unfinished work will demand our attention, and fresh opportunities will ask us to step forward.

MONETARY POLICY STATEMENT | October 2026
The Bank of Uganda has raised the Central Bank Rate (CBR) from 9.75% to 12.0% after a special Monetary Policy Committee meeting on 14 October 2026.
The decision aims to contain rising inflation risks driven by higher fuel prices and exchange rate pressures, while safeguarding price stability.
The Bank also raised the Cash Reserve Requirement (CRR) from 11.0% to 13.5%, effective 24 September 2026, to manage excess liquidity in the banking system and strengthen monetary policy effectiveness.

The flag is the symbol of our political independence, one that we got in 1962. Mental independence is different. We build it ourselves, brick by slow brick.

@TheJNLC in partnership with @UNDPUganda, has delivered more than six comprehensive Youth and Young Women Leadership Training programmes across the country. Reflecting a deliberate strategy to ensure national inclusion and regional representation, the training of over 400 participants since 2023 has covered five regions; Central, Eastern Uganda, Northern Uganda) and Western Uganda. Participants to the trainings hosted at universities in the regions have included youth councillors, university guild leaders, and young from diverse institutions nationwide. By convening young leaders across sectors—politics, academia, and enterprise—the programme strengthens cross-sector collaboration, expands national networks, and nurtures a generation of transformative leaders committed to sustainable development. We gratefully acknowledge @UNDPUganda for its invaluable partnership and continued support in advancing this impactful initiative.

#Uganda's economy is growing. The numbers are impressive.
The real question is:
Where are the youth in that story?
Are we creating wealth, building enterprises, influencing policy, and driving productivity? Or are we standing on the sidelines watching others shape the future?
I am honoured to join fellow young leaders on Youth Voices: Unfiltered Spaces @UgandaUnites as we discuss the role of young people in Uganda's UGX 84 trillion economy.
Join us for what promises to be a candid and thought-provoking conversation.

The #Eucharist is not just a symbol. It is not ordinary bread and wine. It is the true Body, Blood, Soul, and Divinity of our Lord Jesus Christ.
"For my flesh is true food, and my blood is true drink." (John 6:55).
The Eucharist that we receive is Jesus Himself.

On Friday, May 22nd, a group of us spent the day at @UgandaBaati learning from professionals whose work shapes one of Uganda's leading manufacturing companies.
What stood out was not only the scale of the operations or the manufacturing processes. It was the people we met.
