It's bad that a DSA chapter is trying to subvert R22 but really I think the org-wide failure to abide by R49 might have been the most damaging mistake DSA has made.
The idea that there's some internal DSA argument that you could tell a normal person about and NOT catch massive side-eye is the funniest thing a Geese person has ever said.
Arguing about AOC 2028 only feels necessary within the rather unrepresentative echo chamber of online left spaces. In reality, if you tell a normal person that there’s people who call themselves socialists or even communists that don’t want AOC to run for president for pedantic ideological reasons they’d look at you like you’re crazy. The frontier of struggle is already behind this, there’s very little to be argued about at this point. The only real question is if the “organized” socialists are going to walk with the masses in struggle or sit home and cry about it. They’re going to try to win with or without us.
The kernel of truth in the DSA right's "mass politics" mythmaking, specifically their assumption that paper members' politics closely resemble theirs, is that their praxis more closely resembles what the majority of those members are familiar with, where politics is centered-
-they go through the process of development, those members develop politics in rough approximation to DSA's already existing left/center/right divides, hence why all recent conventions have basically the same portions of delegates supporting the various blocs, even as individual-

If you abandon aboveground forms of struggle, and pursue solely others, you are going to either be isolated, surrounded, captured and destroyed, or become a marginal, irrelevant sect, because you have not built a mass base. If you do the other way around, and only use aboveground forms, you basically become a useless appendage of the ruling class, or a loyal opposition that eventually is swallowed by one wing or the other, because you have thrown yourself on the mercy of the bourgeoisie, who will never peacefully give you power. History shows this. You need both, working in harmony.
Ok I'm like 99% sure the person calling the Black Hammer guy a "DSA Leader" is joking and I gotta hand it to them, that is a sick burn all around.
I don't care that my pharmacy is literally a half mile down the street from me. I pay the ten bucks to get my meds delivered and gain back the 30-60 minutes of my time I'd spend waiting in a line that moves slower than the DMV.

I’m gonna keep people’s names out of my mouth, but I gotta say this…
Stop running as a DSA candidate if you only gonna rock with the platform when it’s convenient.
You can be strategic without selling out your politics.
But what you can’t do is waste people time.
Look I like the idea of Indian pizza with a naan crust and makhani gravy or something but I haven't ever had a version of it that wasn't notably worse than a decent butter chicken or pizza separately.
