The LA Metro Station on Wilshire/Vermont is flooding from the storm 😲
Readers added context they thought people might want to know
This is a joke tweet however it is being misinterpreted as fact. This is the “Earthquake” part of the Studio Tour in Universal Hollywood Studios park. t.co/KWulE1ZOp7
Wonder how much public funding #SpaceX, #Tesla, #SolarCity and #Starlink have amassed?

Hello #ONA22 friends! A few unsolicited suggestions as a longtime resident of the area for those at the conference who suffer from wanderlust (and booknerdery).
So FWIW, here are few places to see (w/o having to brave LA traffic) when the Westin's concrete walls start closing in
Santee Alley and the Flower District: On the other side of the historic district, you'll find the flower, garment and fashion districts spilling into one another.
Follow Santee, an alley lined with ever blinking, beeping, wearable thing that can be sold, & street food to match.
One last thing, you're probably aware that LA's 50-block Skid Row is just down the street. If you want a bit of background on the area, check out the Skid Row History Museum's archives on Broadway between 2nd and 3rd (just outside of the area) lapovertydept.org/skid-row-h…
Welcome aboard, @dshultz14 !

In the rush to paywalls, there is too little talk about the cost and risk of subscriber acquisition and churn and the impact on scale.
Reminder: the digital subscription business is a very difficult business.
Quartz (qz.com) is dropping its paywall – back to where it began. Pivoting to free for most of its product. poynter.org/business-work/20…
