Do me a favor, next time you walk into another one, ask if they have employees and if not why. Then ask if they’ve ever had employees and what changed.

Tailscale + Remote Desktop. Also openclaw + Hermes. Just did an 11 model bake-off on a G5 pro / 128 MBP, the local intelligence is moving fast

My guess: ~$7–9B/yr of direct compute demand by year two, or ~$15–18B cumulative over the next 24 months. Anthropic is likely >50% of it; Mistral, Periodic, BFL/Luma, voice, and eval make the rest. OpenRouter is the multiplier: low direct spend, B$'s in routed inference demand.

I have a toolset that helps this significantly. I've gotten approvals in as little as 18 minutes for my most recent app RIpCat apps.apple.com/us/app/ripcat…
Feel free to shoot a dm if I can be helpful.

I still have your “speed in a startup comes down to sequence + focus, focusing on the next step in the proper sequence is how you go fast” printed in my office. I’m adding this one to the office fridge.

Fortunate to know a few of these folks, top notch and can’t recommend enough.
Extremely proud to invest in Sharp Performance to support our police, first responders, fire fighters and public safety professionals in the hardest missions they face.
When Danny and I first started talking to Sharp users, they were some of the most glowing and moving stories we’ve ever heard. Longtime cops who said Sharp coaching saved their marriages, made them a better dad or helped them cope with the trauma they experienced on the job.
Therapists and HR leads can’t possibly understand the day to day stress of these difficult jobs. But Navy SEALs, military vets and other first responders can. And the magic of Sharp is in those relationships.
In just over a year, Sharp has grown from 1 public safety deployment to 50 agencies across the country. They’re just getting started.
At @a16z, we proudly invest in public safety and technology that supports our men and women in uniform who protect us everyday.
Honored to invest in @Ben__Curley and the entire team at @sharp_usa as they support the hero’s journey. 🇺🇸🚀💪
