The Mercedes was not the fastest car today.
The soft tyre was not the fastest tyre for the final stint.
@LewisHamilton made the difference today.
Lewis Hamilton on Charles Leclerc:
“The guy is 28 years old, so I don't think it's an age thing. I think it's a mentality thing.”
“It's like do or die. Like, either I win, or none of us do, and it shouldn't be that. It should be, us having got that one-two, which is still a good feeling.”
So it turned out Charles really was mad after qualifying and took it to the race where he cost his team to lose an easy win.

Fred's "let's deal with stuff privately" only applies to Lewis. He was happy to put Lewis on blast PUBLICLY at Singapore.

I've never been so genuinely happy for any other driver who won the championship other than Lewis Hamilton. Congratulations Kimi, you truly truly deserves this. 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏

Leclerc is an embarrassment to Ferrari. Lost the team a 1-2 today. Team will never win anything with him there.

Should have been a really quiet afternoon where Hamilton won by 30 seconds but thanks to the Monégasque monkey's inflated ego it's been anything but. He can celebrate that achievement because God knows he's not got anything else to do.

Leclerc has cost the team the win today.
I keep saying as long as this idiot is on the team, they wouldn't win anything.

Leclerc fans completely massacred Hamilton for saying this team needed rules of engagement after Monza and said their driver isn't Bottas. Even Fred Vasseur gave him the cold shoulder.
Now this is the consequences of not enforcing those rules. If they didn't learn after Monza and now Mexico, they're never gonna learn.

Second time this year Charles is ruining his teammate's race, as well as potentially his own. Yet Ferrari is quietly and silently shifting their weight behind the garage that has scored 9 wins in 8 years and has absolutely no prospect of winning the WDC. Ever. Utterly inept.

This race is a prime example of why Ferrari have won nothing in 2 decades.
Absolutely no idea about how to do strategy or manage drivers.
