WHOA! Talk about a triple play, Beatles Channel just played George’s “This Guitar (Can’t Keep From Crying), Beatles “I’ll Get You”, and Paul’s “Dance Tonight” back to back to back! Three of my all time faves!!
The bulb on my lava lamp went out last night, which gave me the opportunity to get a new one today from Roanoke Electric Zupply! On the corner of 10th St. and Salem Ave., this place has free popcorn and slushies as well as dogs roaming around inside!
I thought that after Halloween, harsh, dark, and frightful images would vanish from my TV screen, but I forgot that campaign ads continued until after the election today!
Just purchased and watched the documentary “Capturing Bigfoot” on Amazon Prime. It’s mainly about the 1967 footage purported to be a Bigfoot, and was extremely well done.
I LOVE this sunshine in the morning! Made my pre-church dog walk in Garst Mill Park even more of a joy than usual. Of course, I’ll probably be bitching at 5:30 this afternoon about how early the sun is setting!
All eight trick-or-treaters got to see my masterful carving job PLUS take a plethora of Reese’s peanut butter holiday treats (which taste much better than regular peanut butter cups)!

Was going to eat a grilled cheese sandwich for lunch until I read this article. HAD to go with a PBJ after that!
Cooler air may be here, but that’s not stopping Lawyer Bob, Masters Degree Astella, and Farmer Tim from selling fall produce on the City Market this morning! And check out all the bags of CANDY they’re sharing with kids!
Just filmed our annual PSA for the @RescueMission48’s Drumstick Dash! Kevin Spencer (aka “Dash”) is tons of fun to work with!
Lawyer Bob (and yep, that’s a LEMON he’s holding!) and Farmer Tim are manning their stall on the City Market this morning, with lots of fall crops as well as some late tomatoes!
Jay Leno may be 76 years old, but he hasn’t lost his ability to keep a crowd laughing for two solid hours!
Saw (and loved) @jayleno six months ago @TheHarvesterRM in Rocky Mount, so we’re gonna catch him again tonight @AtTheAcademy in Lynchburg! Which of course means I have to take Mitzi by @HobbyLobby so she can shop for about an hour!
Bad enough that my HVAC guy and my electrician have both retired recently, but last night the woman who’s cut my hair for ten years announced that SHE is calling it a day . . . . 😫
It’s “DOG DAY” at the Pinnacle Bank in South Roanoke, which means Stella got a free (handmade) bandana, a meat treat, and a pup cup just for coming in!
I’m extremely color blind, and paid for it today: last week I saw a pair of men’s suede shoes online at a good price. Thought they were light brown, and ordered ‘em. They came today, fit perfectly, and I wore them tonight. That is, until Mitzi asked where my PINK SHOES came from!
