If you think people have scar tissue, you should see organizations. Each time there's a disaster, they create a process to prevent future disasters of that type. Eventually they accrete a thick layer of these processes that prevents them from moving. Then they die.

If you are straight and cisgendered, over the next few years you may start seeing and hearing LGBTQ people a lot less.
It may be very gradual and subtle, and therefore hard for you to notice.
So, I'm going to say now, while you can still see and hear me- this was deliberate.

Build inclusive culture in your org by being your whole, authentic self, & by being mindful of the language you use. Avoid making assumptions, practice empathy & compassion - including for yourself. Notice the voices that aren’t being heard, & amplify them. @fabulosity #OSSummit

You changed your main git branch name from master to main. Police are still killing people of color at elevated rates AND... now homebrew on my mac doesn't work. It's true that language matters, but I want to be able to safely jog in my neighborhood and upgrade homebrew too.
